He’s on the phone, but that doesn’t stop him from trailing his eyes down my form and back up, pausing on my face for just a moment before turning around in his chair and continuing his conversation. I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting, but it was for sure a stronger reaction than that. He’s the one that forced me to look like this, and now he’s just going to act like he doesn’t give a damn? Like it means nothing?

Shifting my gaze over to the other workers, I catch a glance here and there as they pop their heads up like gophers, all trying to take in Cinderella without openly ogling me. It doesn’t work, though. I see each and every questioning glance as I take another step forward. They know. They have to know.

Trudging over to my desk, my heart cracks open just a touch. It was stupid to let myself get so worked up, to think he actually would care and take notice. Just like fucking high school. How many times did I agonize over what to wear only to have him tip his nose up in disdain as I walked by?

Why would this be any different? I ease myself around, slipping my shoes off as I bring my knees under the desk. If I have to wear these every day, I’ll have to dedicate at least some of my paycheck to weekly massages. Unfortunately, as I close my eyes, it’s Daniel I picture rubbing me instead of some nameless, buff therapist. We would both be coming home after a long day of work. I’d smile at him and slide off my shoes, letting him give me the world’s best foot massage.

Again, the bit of arousal I’m desperate to keep hidden flares to life, leaving me almost breathless. This won’t do. I’ve got to get my head on straight if I’m going to go toe-to-toe with him. Shifting my gaze around the office, I’m delighted to find everyone still hard at work. A niggle of guilt floods through me as I pick up my shoes and ease my way out of the office, sneaking off so they won’t notice me.

For as much as Daniel just spent on me, I should be working just as hard, but until I can take the edge off, I won’t be able to concentrate on anything. I sure as hell am not going to walk into his office and ask him to take care of it for me. Besides, him buying me clothes doesn’t mean anything. As his personal assistant, I’m sure my appearance was an affront to his professional senses.

Making my way to the door marked bathroom, I open it, praying for it to be a single stall and not rows where just anyone can walk in. No such luck. The decor is incredible, though, with plump couches and soft, dreamy lighting. This bathroom looks more suited for a wedding chapel than a law firm.

Turning back around, I note the lock on the door and sigh, turning my eyes up to the heavens. Before locking it, I go through the three stalls that are there, opening each door until I’m satisfied I’m alone. As I secure it, the click of the lock sends a thrum of pleasure through me. I’ve never been so horny that I’d had to take care of things at work, but this is all Daniel’s fault.

Hopefully, after a few days, I can manage things better so this won’t happen again. I’ll get myself off every night if I have to. However, I’d be lying if I said the extra thrill of getting caught didn’t make it all the hotter. I can’t let myself fall into the trap of letting this extra edge of excitement taint the experience until I constantly need that added stimulation just to orgasm.

Walking over to the sofa, I slide my skirt up. I don’t even bother to move my panties down; I just slide them to the side and set my fingers to work. There’s no way he’d have a camera in here, right? Pausing for a moment, I stare at the ceiling tiles, squinting as I peer up at each suspicious dot. Well, if he does, he’s going to get one hell of a show. Relief pours through me as I work my clit, strumming it hard and fast. I don’t want to take up a lot of time, so I make it rougher, giving myself that bit of pain I need to send me over the edge.

Closing my eyes, I conjure up Daniel’s face. I’m sure displeasure would quirk his lips if he knew I was in here getting myself off instead of working. My core tightens, coiling as I hold that image, combining it with the sensation of me kneeling before him earlier. Did he get hard when he saw my pictures? Will he use them to get himself off later?

The thought of him using me as his personal masturbatory fodder sends me careening over the edge. Slamming my hand up to my mouth, I smother the scream that threatens to break loose. Moments go by, and I just sit there, gasping for breath. Normally, my orgasms are just okay. They’re enough to break the tension, but it’s nothing to write home about.

This time was different. Putting commanding Daniel in the position of Daddy looming over me instead of the Daniel of my wet dreams from high school certainly makes a difference. It also means I’m irrevocably screwed. Now that I’ve pictured him in that position of power, I won’t be able to get it out of my head. I remove my fingers and stand, walking over to the sink to wash up before setting everything back to rights.

I unlock the door and ease it open, praying no one is out there waiting for me. As usual, my prayers go unanswered. Daniel leans against the doorframe, his forearm bracing at the top as he angles towards me. “Workday isn’t over yet. Why is it you’re here instead of at your desk?”

Swallowing, I toss my head back, forcing my backbone back out where it belongs. “Sorry. Didn’t realize I had to ask your permission to pee.”

His lips curl up into a feral grin as he draws in a deep breath. “So that’s what you were doing. Peeing? Seems a bit of a long time just to pee.” Heat licks up my cheeks as he stares down at me, his eyes looking far too knowledgeable for my liking.

“And yes,” he continues, pulling away from the door. “I expect you to ask permission for everything. You’ve already shown yourself incapable of behaving like a mature adult, so I will treat you as the errant child you act like until you can prove to me otherwise. Make no mistake, Cindy, I own you. You lied on your resume. You lied in your interview. I would hate to have to get the law involved.”

My stomach clenches at his threat. He’s right. I should have just come clean when I had the meeting. None of this would be happening right now if I hadn’t kept my mouth shut. Hell, I might have been able to salvage this and still have the receptionist position I wanted all along. As he turns, he crooks his finger at me, demanding I follow. My arousal kicks back up at the commanding way he leads me, orders me. I’m so fucking screwed.

Like a puppy after their master, I follow him, and the visual isn’t lost on me. Stifling a groan, I go back into the office space, noting the curious looks as Daniel grabs my elbow in his immovable grasp. “Next time you need to use the restroom, you will come into my office and tell me. I’ll decide if I’ll let you go.” He points to a nondescript door over to the side. “That’s our personal bathroom. It will be quicker and more efficient to use that one.”

“What if it’s an emergency?”

“Then you better be damn convincing. Until you’ve earned my trust, I won’t believe anything that comes out of those pretty lips of yours. You will find a list of tasks at your desk. I want you to start on it.”

He removes his hand and walks back to his office. All the blinds are down except one - the one that looks right over to my desk. Hanging my head, I head back and kick off my shoes underneath again before settling in. The list is a full page. Heart sinking, I pull it towards me, flipping it over. The small part of me that hoped it wasn’t double-sided sinks as most of the backside is full as well.

It’s almost five o’clock! There’s no way he can expect me to get all this done before the end of the day. Perhaps it’s something to start on tonight then finish tomorrow? I want to ask him, but don’t dare risk his ire. It’s becoming quite apparent that I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, just going by this list alone. I don’t want to alert him to that fact any more than I have to.

His treatment of me is demeaning, but I’ll endure it if it means a nice, big paycheck. Once I pay off all my debts, I’ll be able to move out. After that, I can start saving, and I’ll look for a new job before leaving this one. One thing’s for certain, for my sanity, I have to leave sooner rather than later.

The minutes fly by, and I’m still stuck staring at the list. There’s no way he can expect me to do these things without giving me more information. Are the numbers and email addresses just commonly known? Am I supposed to do an internet search? One by one, I read back through the list, hoping for something, anything. I can probably do copying, but that might have to wait until tomorrow. The others are starting to gather up their things, and it would be rude of me to ask them how to work their copier so close to going home.

I know John would help me, but that would just make Daniel even more irate. What the hell am I supposed to do? My breath comes in quick pants as my heart races so fast I can hear it thundering in my ears. Maybe tomorrow I can stand behind someone else doing it and just copy them. I know it’s not a hard job, but I’ve only handled one copier in my life, and that was at school. Pretty sure they’ve advanced since then.

Sighing, I glance at the clock and start to gather my things. Jack said he’d drop off all my clothes with Brittany and Ryan, but I still want to get home in time to see them and explain. How bad would it look to have a personal driver drop off hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of items when I’m supposed to be too poor to pay rent?

Daniel didn’t think about that when he forced these riches onto me. Then again, he has no way of knowing just how poor I really am. Dropping my head into my hands, I try to come up with a way of saying the truth that’s both plausible and keeps me from looking like the bad guy. None of this is my fault, but will they believe that?

“Ms. Lewis, I’d like to see you in my office. I’m working late, and as my assistant, you’re working with me.” Sliding over, he leans down, his hot breath scalding my ear. “Don’t worry, you’ll get some overtime out of this. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the little extra padding in your paycheck.”

My cheeks redden at his words. Though he whispered it to me, the paranoid part still wonders if anyone else heard. I don’t want or need the office knowing about my financial straits. Hell, it would be bad enough if he knew.
