Pulling back, I stand and slide my tongue around his splayed lips. Jackson jerks his head from side to side to escape me, and I let him. His lips aren’t what I’m after. I grab his cock again, sliding my fist up and down, letting his blood lubricate my motion, as I plunge my fangs into his neck. Cum splatters against my hand and floor as I drink deep from in, taking in all his essence.

The mighty Jackson Montgomery goes limp, but I keep on, draining him until his heart is just a faint stutter. So close to death. If I take just a bit more, I’ll kill him, and all this needless fighting will be over, but then what fun would that be. Motioning to Markus to lie him flat, I reach over to grab a cloth to wipe Jackson’s cum from my fingers. Straddling his hips, I run my sharpened nail over the thin skin of my wrist.

Markus pries his mouth open, and I drop my lifeblood down Jackson’s throat. Soon, his mouth moves on its own accord, and he’s sucking my blood deep inside of him. I let him suckle me until I can’t give him any more without fear of weakening myself. Picking him up, I lay him in Molodoy’s coffin and close the lid with a loud clang.

“Bring the coffin to the boats. We will be leaving shortly.” Gathering Katrina up into my arms, I turn to Markus, a smirk dancing across my lips. “If you’ve actually grown attached to your human, I’d stay close by her. You’ll want to snatch her up amid all the chaos.”

His brows draw forward in confusion, but he says nothing. I race away, bringing Katrina safe inside her room. I haven’t taken enough blood to make her weak again, but it should be enough to shroud her in confusion.

The room is practically destroyed, Jackson’s stench coating every surface. The very fabric shimmers with his rage. Smiling, I lay her down on the mussed-up sheets, sliding my lips over hers. “Soon, lyubimyy.” In no time at all, I put to rights what Jackson messed up.

When Katrina wakes up, I don’t want her frightened. Off-balanced, of course. Going into the bathroom, I dampen a cloth and come back to wipe her down and peel off the rest of her clothes, leaving her naked among the sheets. A slight tremor shakes the ship, and I cannot contain the grin as it crosses my face. Everything is going as planned.

Chapter 13

Katrina

A loud pounding infiltrates my brain, forcing my eyes to open. Again, I dreamt of Luka and Jackson but fucking me together, using me as their toy. I’m shamefully wet and achy, and I slide my fingers down to rub one out when that pounding starts up again.

“It’s the Steward. I’m coming in.” Frantic, I pull the sheet over me just as he enters, his frame vibrating with anxiety. “I need you to get dressed in your warmest clothes and put on your life jacket.”

Fear drips down my spine as he opens up a nearby closet and pulls out a life jacket. No. No, no, no. This cannot be happening. This has to be some sick Halloween joke. Right? He flops the lifejacket onto the bed next to me and exits, leaving the door open. From the sound of it, he’s at Lizzy’s door, pounding away like he did on mine.

Even if it is a joke, I don’t want to sit here and find out. Wrapping the sheet around me, I close the door and race over to my suitcase. I packed some clothes for Russia but didn’t realize they’d be needed so soon. I tug on my sweater and pull on some thick, woolen pants, not bothering with any underwear. No one will care that I’m wearing them or not. Socks, shoes, lifejacket.

I fling open the door and head over to Lizzy’s room, but she’s not there. Frantic, I scream her name, searching every nook and cranny. She has to be here. She has to! “Miss. You need to come with me.”

The Steward is behind me, grabbing my arm to coax me to leave. Yanking free, I run to the bathroom, but she’s not there either. “Miss. Now!”

“Not without Lizzy.”

“I’m sure she’s already at the boats. We’re taking a headcount of everyone. I promise your friend will not be left behind.”

“Boats?” My hand slides up my throat as I force air deep into my lungs. This can’t be happening. Wake up, Kat. Wake the fuck up. I let the Steward lead me out of the room while I pinch my thigh. Pain explodes across my skin, and blood drains from my face. This is all too real.

The outer decks are blistering cold, and I shiver despite the warm layers. Very few people are up here, but there are still deckhands working at the lifeboats. It’s surreal, just like in the movie. It’s gotta be some elaborate hoax. Any minute now, someone will turn to me and say “gotcha” or some asinine equivalent before taking me below decks for my second drink.

That moment never happens. Instead, I’m dragged along closer to the lifeboats and ordered to stay. Frantic, I look up and down the decks, relief bringing me to my knees when I see Lizzy and the Dungeon Master. I don’t care what happens to this damn ship as long as my friend is safe. She looks scared but otherwise intact.

“What the fuck is happening?” I scream as she gets closer.

Her face pales even more as she looks down at the deck for a moment. “Iceberg.”

“No. No fucking way.”

“I’m afraid she’s right.” I turn to the Master, rage filling my being.

“I knew this was going to happen,” I shriek, balling my hands into fists and raining them on her Dom’s chest and abs. He takes every blow, not moving a muscle as I pour out my fear and anger onto him.

“Pretty sure beating Markus up isn’t going to save you.”

Luka

My vision blurs as he gets closer, and goosebumps explode over my skin. It has nothing to do with the cold. Groaning, I pull back away from the Dungeon Master and closer to Lizzy. He’s right. Hitting him isn’t going to stop what’s happening.

“I’m so sorry,” she blubbers, wrapping me in a hug. I hold her tight, forcing the tears to stay in my head. Crying will only make things worse. “I’ll never force you on another cruise as long as we live,” Lizzy continues, her voice hoarse and raw.

Tears well up in my eyes and slide down my cheeks, stinging in the bitter cold. “And I’m sorry I said I’ll never share my door with you. I’ll always share my door.”
