“Eh. People will just look at the internet and say, ‘him again—can’t that guy keep his clothes on?’” I snickered.

Carrington grinned. “Perhaps. Nevertheless, I would suggest we limit the photography to your models henceforth. Besides, you don’t need pictures to view me naked. But I think we should make our calls before we get into other activities.”

I rolled my eyes. “Okay, okay. But if anyone in Yastarus insists you go back today, I swear, I’m flying there with you. Point me at the culprit, and I’ll rearrange their face.”

He looked at me with an odd expression. “What did you say?”

“Um, I don’t know. Rearrange their face? Don’t worry, I didn’t mean it. Of course, I wouldn’t hit someone. For some reason, that phrase popped into my head,” I answered. Carrington began cackling. “What? It’s not even funny.” He kept guffawing. “Okay, you’re weird.”

He calmed down. “You’re weird,” he replied. “But you’re also adorable. And you know what else you are?”

I crossed my arms, waiting for a barb. “What?”

“Mine.” He smiled.

I grinned in return. “My favorite adjective you’ve used to describe me so far.”

Carrington uncrossed my arms and pulled me into a kiss. When he broke away, his expression was playful. “You do know that ‘mine’ isn’t an adjective, right?”

I slapped his shoulder. “Yes! God, just get back to kissing me, Professor.”

He laughed again. “Hmm, another role-play scenario. We have so much fun in our future.”
