On the day my world shifted on its axis, I woke up to an attractive man hovering over me. I didn’t need to open my eyes to know his dark hair was mussed, his eyes hooded, his features soft in the morning light.
It was a day like so many others, one that I didn’t think too much about because I was eight years into what I liked to consider my second chance with the man I could feel watching me as the morning took over and sleep was erased.
I won’t lie. I was a lucky woman in that I usually woke to a sexy man next to me. Probably helped that I was married to two. Not in the eyes of the law, of course. The government frowned on it for whatever reason. But Travis, Gage, and I didn’t much care about how the government viewed our relationship. We were happy. All three of us.
“Mornin’,” Travis whispered.
I rolled to my back, sliding my arm over my eyes to briefly shut out the day. At least for a little while longer. Despite my desire to snuggle down in our giant, warm bed and shift back to dreamland, having him there brought a smile to my face. “Already?”
I gasped softly when he tugged the sheet, revealing my breasts to the cool air.
Oh, yes. Thank you for days like today.
“What are you doin’?” I whispered, peeking at Travis as I moved my arm, getting my first glimpse of his hungry gaze.
He smiled. “Startin’ the day right.”
God, I loved this man’s smile. I hadn’t seen enough of it in recent months, so when it was there, I found myself captivated, wanting to drink it in and memorize it.
“Kinda like you ended the day right with Gage in the shower last night?”
He leaned down and licked my nipple. “Exactly like that.”
Oh, that mouth. “Anyone ever tell you you’re spoiled?”
His soft chuckle rumbled in his chest as that delectable mouth sucked. A moan escaped despite my best effort to hold it in. When his hand slid over my stomach, making its way to my other breast, I drew in a ragged breath, exhaling when he began gently kneading it. Oh, how I loved mornings like this. I loved waking up to Travis or Gage—in rare cases, both of them—because it was the perfect way to start the day. They knew just how to wake me up, slowly raising my blood pressure while making my nerve endings sing.
Before long, I was whimpering, needing more, desperate for Travis to send me soaring into the abyss. To encourage him, I tugged on his arm, urging him over me.
“Is this where you want me?” he asked.
He settled between my thighs, his hips settling perfectly. I cradled him with my knees, clutching his arms with my fingertips, eagerly anticipating the moment when…
I moaned low in my throat at the same time Travis grunted, his thick, hard length sliding into me. He began to move, a slow, intimate glide forward and back, and the pleasure grew in intensity. I loved morning sex. I didn’t care so much for foreplay in the early hours because my body was too sensitive, too eager for that single perfect moment when one of them would fill me so exquisitely.
I rode the waves of ecstasy, expecting Travis to increase the pace, to give me what I so desperately needed. But he didn’t. He kept up the leisurely pace, sliding in deep, retreating slowly. It was magnificent, but it wasn’t enough. Not nearly enough.
“Travis…” Unable to stop myself, I gripped his ass, jerking him forward, forcing him deeper. Oh, yeah. Just like that. “More … please … more.”
He punched his hips forward.
“Ahh, yes,” I groaned.
It was utter perfection the way he slammed into me, deep, fast. But the kicker was when he slapped a hand on the headboard to keep us from sliding up the bed. I arched and twisted, accepting the deliciously punishing thrusts of his hips. He hovered on the brink of giving me everything I needed, and I knew exactly what he was doing. He was purposely driving me crazy with pleasure, forcing me higher until the need to come overwhelmed me.
“Travis … oh, God, yes.” I dug my nails into his arms, trembling beneath the onslaught.
