“Is it a bit distracting?”
“Yup.”
He set that last set of logs down by the tent. “Did you want to go into the man-killing tent, and I can find more ways to scramble your brain?”
“Yes, please and thank you.”
She gathered up the blanket around her and picked up both wine glasses.
He didn’t waste any time hurrying over to hold the tent flap open.
Once inside Kiera set everything down and stood across from him. Blushing furiously, she reached out and ran a hand down his chest.
“Gods, Hunter. Every inch of you is perfect.”
He took her hand and moved it lower until she grasped exactly what was begging for her attention.
Seconds later, she removed her hand and stepped back.
“Nope.”
He felt like he had been dunked in ice water. “Why nope? How can you nope me?” he asked, flustered beyond belief.
“Hunter, where in the hell is that thing supposed to go?” she demanded, crossing her arms.
For the life of him, he couldn’t think of a right answer. Biologically he knew where it was supposed to go, but from the look on her face, he had a feeling if he said that she’d ‘nope’ him again. Not knowing what else to do, he rubbed the back of his neck. “Huh?” he asked.
Chapter Twelve
“Kiera just tell me what to say,” he begged.
She threw her hands in the air. “I don’t know!”
“Then why the ‘nope’?”
“Hunter, do you really have no idea how big you are?”
He glanced down, then back up at her. “No.”
She pinched the bridge of her nose. “That thing has ‘ER visit’ written on it.”
“I swear it doesn’t.”
“You’re hard right?”
Hunter swallowed. “Mostly.”
“That’s not even at one-hundred percent?!”
Hunter dropped to his knees and took her hands. “I will do whatever you need me to do, for this to work.”
She bit her bottom lip. “You can’t make it smaller right?”
He shook his head. “I will go slow and stop whenever you need me to.”
She could feel the trembling in his hands. “Hunter, whatever arousal I had evaporated when I freaked out.”
He stood. “We have all night. Let me get you back in the mood.”
