“I think you meant to ask who do I want to do next.” She gave him a seductive smile that nearly turned him into a wet spot on the pavement at her feet.

“There had better be only one answer to that question, Charlie.” He leaned forward and caught her mouth in a kiss that made no mistake that she was his.

“Take me to meet your other sisters,” she said, “then let’s find some privacy.”

“Dammit, I’d almost forgotten our promise to Morgan to meet up with my sisters.”

Morgan had called him before he and Charlie had left to come to the set this morning. She had informed him that Claire and Brooke had demanded the chance to meet Charlie once they’d heard that Morgan had met her. Austin had agreed then grew concerned when he heard multiple male voices in the background.

“Who are they?” he’d asked.

“Relax, big brother,” Morgan had said. “But let’s just say I have a sudden and burning need to learn everything about hockey.” She’d giggled when another male voice said something Austin couldn’t hear.

“I’m going to kill Isabel,” he’d said.

Morgan had only laughed again. “See you later, Austin.”

Now it was later and Austin had to share Charlie with his sisters. And apparently check Morgan hadn’t worked through an entire hockey team. She wouldn’t.

Would she?

Austin grabbed Charlie’s hand and tugged her toward where wardrobe and props were waiting for him to change. “You’re coming with me. I can’t leave you here all out in the open looking this damn gorgeous in your sunglasses and your hat and your cargo pants. Anyone is liable to swing by and steal you on me.”

Charlie didn’t fight him, but before they got too far, Cody jogged over to them.

“Hey, wait up, you guys,” he called.

Austin had engaged in a serious conversation with his agent about Charlie, making the man understand she wasn’t going anywhere. The news that Austin was in love with Charlie had left Cody with a gaping mouth, but he’d eventually recovered.

“And don’t worry,” Austin had said. “She won’t be a distraction.” He’d gripped Cody by the upper arms. “She’ll be the reason instead.”

Cody’s face had softened and a slow smile had slid across his face. “You delivered that line with such believability, dude. I’m totally searching for romance scripts for your next project.”

“Don’t you dare.”

Cody had given Austin a solid man hug. “I’ll admit to being wary of you having a thing with Charlie and I wanted to skin her alive when she rattled you by flying over water, but she makes you happy most of the time, doesn’t she?”

“She does.”

“Well, that’s all there is then.” He’d cuffed Austin’s shoulder. “She’s the first woman to do that for you since I’ve known you.”

“She’s the first woman to do that for me ever.”

Standing before them now, Cody waved his phone at them. “I realize we’re still shooting Hunting Justice, but I found your next project.”

Austin folded his arms across his chest. “I was hoping to maybe take a little time off after this movie wraps.” He peeked at Charlie. “I’d like to see more of New England.”

“Via helicopter tour,” Charlie added with a grin.

“Would a month be enough time for this New England helicopter tour?” Cody asked, impatiently tapping his foot as he poked a finger at his phone’s screen.

“Probably.” Austin glanced at Charlie again who nodded. “This new script better not be a romance.”

Cody shook his head. “Not a romance, however, you can work with your sweetheart here again.”

“More choppering needed?” Charlie asked, a note of interest that excited Austin. He loved that she was open to working on camera with him again. He was certainly open to that as well.

“No choppering,” Cody said, “but there will be ziplining, obstacle courses, races, puzzles, games, and more.” He handed his phone to Austin.
