But did Chris have a point about Harrison’s sudden uptick in writing inspiration having something to do with Sammy? Harrison wasn’t sure, but he couldn’t deny that it got him thinking for a moment.
But Harrison’s thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sound of some very loud snores coming from the bedroom.
‘Surely that can’t be the boy?’ Harrison chuckled, surprised by the sheer volume of the snoring. ‘Only one way to find out.’
Harrison got up from the table and walked over toward the double doors that lead into the bedroom. Taking care to open them very slowly and carefully, Harrison peeked his head inside the bedroom.
The sound very much was Sammy snoring.
But more than that, Harrison found himself totally entranced by the sight of Sammy’s mostly naked body on top of the bed, his slender but toned legs splayed wide open with only his tight briefs protecting his modesty.
Holy hell.
That body...
That bulge…
It was clear that while Sammy may have still been fast asleep, his mind was very much working. The sight of Sammy’s hard cock bulging inside his pants was unavoidable. But as hot a sight as it was, Harrison knew it wasn’t his place to be looking.
As carefully as he could, Harrison shut the doors and took a moment to compose himself. Sammy’s body was absolutely perfect - slender and petit yet toned and athletic too. It was exactly that kind of physique that drove Harrison crazy.
But just as Harrison’s own manhood was beginning to wake up, he scanned his eyes across toward the kitchen table and saw his phone flashing. Maybe it was a message from Zane about their rock-climbing day?
Sadly, the message wasn’t from Zane.
In fact, it was from precisely the last person that Harrison wanted to hear from…
HOFFMAN: Harrison, I need you to confirm with my secretary that you intend to meet your new requirements. You need to be taking at least four extra student-lecturer responsibilities on per week. This is NOT a request. I hope my message is understood. Dean Geoffrey Hoffman.
Harrison rolled his eyes and for a second felt tempted to toss his cell phone right out of the window and down onto the punishingly hard city street below. Geoffrey Hoffman, or Dean Hoffman as he insisted on being addressed as, was a royal pain in the ass. Full of ego, arrogance, and hellbent on turning the college into some kind of corporate hell hole, Hoffman was making life uncomfortable for any member of staff who didn’t toe his exact line.
And Harrison very much fell into that category.
The old Dean had been far more understanding of Harrison’s need to take his time and work on his writing. This was how liberal arts colleges had always been run. But Hoffman had other ideas. And ever since their first meeting, it had been crystal clear to Harrison that the two of them were not going to get along.
‘Well, if he thinks I’m replying on my day off, Hoffman can sit on a dick,’ Harrison said, angrily tossing his phone onto the couch.
‘Bad moment?’ Sammy said, his soft voice startling Harrison. ‘Sorry! I don’t want to disturb anything!’
Harrison turned around and immediately felt his spirits lift. Sammy looked angelic. His sweet smile and sparkly blue eyes practically lit up the suite on their own.
‘Nothing, nothing at all to disturb,’ Harrison said, sounding as convincing as he could. ‘Just a pain in the ass spam email. You know, right?’
Sammy giggled. It was clear that this boy was smart and didn’t believe a word that Harrison was saying.
‘And when I say spam, what I mean is my pain in the ass boss,’ Harrison said, waving Sammy over toward him. ‘But enough about me. You look rested. I hope the bed was to your liking?’
‘It was. I had a super-duper sleep,’ Sammy said, blushing a little bit. ‘But the bed was almost too big for just one person.’
Grrrrr. Is the boy flirting with me?
This can’t happen.
‘Yes, well, that as may be,’ Harrison said, putting on a formal, controlled voice. ‘A good sleep is only part of the solution though. We need to get some nutritious food in you. And as good as the breakfast at the hotel is, I have a far, far better idea. Come on, get freshened up and I’ll show you where the big men get their morning feed. Come on, chop-chop. I want you ready in two minutes flat.’
Sammy smiled and immediately sprung to action without questioning Harrison for a split-second. Harrison felt his Daddy urges going into overdrive. It felt good to give out orders, to care for a boy, and especially if that meant a trip to his favorite breakfast spot in the city… Oliver’s Oats.
