“The fuck going on, Row? You in trouble?” he questioned with nothing but worry and concern lacing his response.

Chuckling, I stepped out the room before calming him down. “Nah, lil’ nigga. I just need two of y’all as witnesses that’s all. I was gon’ ask Sol to marry me but I ain’t even ‘bout to give Ma an option. We going to this courthouse and she gon’ sign her muthafuckin’ name on that goddamn paper. Ain’t no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I’m tired of playing with her lil’ ass.”

“Yeeahhhhh!” he shouted. I smiled knowing my people was on my side. “Aye, we on the muthafuckin’ way big dawg.”

“That’s a bet. She getting dressed right now so we should be pulling up ‘bout the same time.”

“Cool. I need to pick up some rings or something on the way?” he asked, as I heard his car alarm go off.

“I got all that, bro’. I done had them rings in my possession for years. This ain’t nothing new, a nigga just got the courage to follow through with it. I can’t let this woman leave again. I fear I’m gon’ catch a case this time,” I spoke honestly.

“Aye, I feel that. We on the way.”

“Bet.” I hung up and walked back inside the bedroom to see Sol standing at the bed looking between two outfits. “Mama, I done gave you ten minutes, and you ain’t did too much of shit. What you indecisive ‘bout? They both green so choose one.”

Shaking her head, she pointed to the one on the left saying, “No baby. This one has more buttons than this one.”

My brows dipped as my head fell to the side. I knew good and goddamn well she wasn’t in here debating on how many buttons to wear. “Buttons? You in turmoil over some fuckin’ buttons? Baby, choose one and let’s go before we be late,” I voiced.

“Don’t do that baby ‘cause this last minute shit is your idea. I’m only going ‘cause I’m nosy as fuck and want to see what the hell you got going on. Now, which one?” she fussed.

“The one with all the buttons baby damn,” I answered.

She snatched up the fit and proceeded to get dressed. Women really made shit bigger than what it was. It was the same exact fit except one skirt buttoned in the front. I was over it, and I wanted her to be as well. I leaned against the doorframe and let her do what she needed to.

Fifteen minutes skated by us like it wasn’t nothing and Dray was texting asking where we was. Little did he know she hadn’t managed to put her shoes on yet. At this very moment she was held up in the bathroom with the door closed. I lightly tapped on it patiently waiting for her to grant me access. When she didn’t answer, I tapped once more and instead of getting an answer, I heard baby calling earl.

Rushing in, I found her on her knees hovering over the toilet. I tried rushing over to assist her, but she threw her hand up halting me before I could cross the room good. I wasn’t a nigga to cross boundaries, so I let her have it. However, I didn’t leave. I stayed a few feet back to keep an eye on her.

“Talk to a nigga, Ma. What’s wrong with you?” I questioned.

Slowly shaking her head, she said, “I don’t know, baby. One minute I was fine brushing my teeth and then within seconds the smell of the toothpaste made me queasy.”

“Since when does brushing yo’ teeth make you…” it clicked for me before it did her. I knew exactly why something she did on the normal no longer was accepted. As much as I wanted to show my excitement, baby had no clue that she was carrying a nigga’s seed. That explained why she was always tired as fuck.

“You want some water or something? Ginger?”

“Ginger? Hell no. I don’t know what the fuck this is about but I’m good. I promise,” she said wiping her mouth.

She stood to her feet and proceeded to clean herself up. She hadn’t had a visit from mother nature since she got here. I only knew that cause she normally sent me out to get her menstrual supplies. A nigga ain’t made that kind of run since she came to town. I definitely knew I had a son baking in that muthafucka.

“We can pick up some different toothpaste while we out. Can you finish getting dressed on yo’ own or you need me?” Knowing what I knew, I was gon’ lend a hand every chance I got.

“I got it. Give me another ten, and I’ll be out.” I gave her that look, and she offered a soft smile saying, “I swear all I need is ten baby.”

“Aight. Make sure you got yo’ wallet with you.” She gave a light nod, and I backed out giving her room to finish. I made my sweep around the crib turning shit off and making sure everything was cool before we left. I also texted Dray letting him know we were on the way for real this time. The rings were in my pocket ready to take their place on our hands so we was good.

Like she promised, she surfaced from the bedroom in ten minutes looking like she belonged on a nigga’s arm. That olive green looked good against her caramel brown skin. Sol knew she had the body of a goddess and the face of an angel. She was perfect in my eyes. It wasn’t a damn thing on her that needed to be altered.

I was sitting at the bar when she decided to show face and I couldn’t lie, I was taken aback by how fine lil’ mama was. My gaze traveled from head down and back up again. A nigga salivated as I lingered on her thighs. I knew the treasure between them and how wet that muthafucka got. Dick was harder than a rock from the many memories of being inside it.

“Hey, eyes up big daddy,” she voiced.

Smiling, I stood saying, “You know how to make a nigga fall into this hypnotic spell. That shit is crazy, Ma.”

Closing the gap between us, I brought her into my embrace, bent down, and placed several kisses on her lips. A slap on her ass was administered before saying, “Let’s go.”

Grabbing her by the hand, we exited the condo looking like two bags of money. Baby complimented anybody she was with. A nigga was tall, dark, and handsome as fuck already so imagine the view we was giving these ugly muthafuckas in the Valley. Shitting on the whole town if you asked me.
