Impatient hands yank me away from the group hug.

“Took you long enough, bambolina.I need you in my arms.Forever,” Romeo snarls.

“Yes.Forever.Marry me,” I demand.

“Hey, that’s my line,” he growls.

“Okay, fine.Quit being so slow.Ask me, old man,” I command.

ZioMario grumbles, “Old man?”

The world fades away as Romeo Yovanni drops to one knee and pulls a jewelry box out of his pocket.

“Sienna Luciano, will you marry me?”he asks.

“Yes.Now put that ring on my finger and kiss me.”

“Was she always this bossy?”Valentina stage whispers toZioMario.

He nods.Valentina giggles.Romeo smirks.

Even though we stand in the middle of a wrecked metal building with smoke in the air and blood all over my body, the world is perfect.

I’m no longer alone.I’ll never be alone again.I have my old and new family.

It may not be perfect and there may still be lots to fix, but the fear of abandonment fades.

And it’s all because Romeo Yovanni targeted me for his revenge.

Revenge is sweet after all.

He wraps me in his arms and kisses me until my head spins.

Romeo Yovanni is mine.My captor, lover, biggest support, and my soon-to-be husband.

I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my mystery mafia man. He’s mine. All mine.

Forever.

Epilogue

Sienna Luciano

I sneak ahead of Valentina and Renatain hopes of catching a few minutes alone with Romeo before the makeup artist arrives. No one told me an evening wedding would mean spending the entire day beforehand apart from my fiancé.I miss him.

A familiar, not-Romeo shadow falls over me from behind.I tense, take a deep breath, and whip around to meet Alan’s eyes.Despite living in the same house with him for almost two months, I’ve used all the skills I honed in San Francisco to avoid him as much as possible.

“What do you want, brother?”I emphasize the title so he’s less inclined to cross the line.

“I wanted to apologize.”

I blink at the unexpected response, then decide him telling me isn’t actually apologizing, and after the way he made me feel unwelcome in my forever home, he deserves whatever discomfort I can give him.I cross my arms over my chest and lean back to give him an expectant once-over.

He grinds his teeth together.I let the silence stretch. His eye twitches.

Romeo walks around the corner and stalks toward us, but I raise a palm to him without looking away from his brother.Even in my limited periphery, I know he’ll make me pay for the slight.

A shiver of delight runs down my spine.I can’t wait.
