I shifted my eyes from him to a very pissed off Kaden. “At the bar. Looks like he’s out for blood,” I teased and he chuckled.
“I havenothingappropriate to say,” he bit his bottom lip.
“Hey!” I playfully reprimanded. “I don’t share.”
“Oh, I wish you would,” he looked at me and I rolled my eyes. “Harvey,” he extended his hand to me.
“Dakota,” I smiled, shaking his hand.
We got lost in conversation, and I didn’t miss Kaden’s eyes not leaving me once.
After Harvey and I exchanged phone numbers, we split up and I headed over to Kaden. “Before you say anything,” I slipped my arms around his waist. “You’re more his type than I am.”
“I don’t care. He was too close.”
“Mhm,” I smiled, leaning up to kiss his lips. “Relax,” I chuckled, and his hand on my waist tightened. “Are you jealous?”
He didn’t hesitate. “Yes.”
I grinned. “It’s hot.”
I turned around in his arms, leaning my back against his chest and his arm snaked around my stomach. He kissed my neck and I smiled, feeling butterflies flutter inside of me.
“I loved you up there,” he murmured against my neck and I shuddered.
“Oh yeah?” I mused. “My hips didnotmove like theirs.”
His hips pressed to my ass, and he grinned against my ear.
“Don’t even…” I trailed off, playfully rolling my eyes and he kissed my neck before lifting the glass to his lips. “All done?” I asked when Chase and Logan approached us.
They had some important work related things to take care of that were thankfully finished now.
They nodded in unison but were taken aback when I yawned. “It’s only nine, Dakota,” Chase pinned me with a look.
“Did we forget about what happened on the plane ride over here?” I rhetorically asked and Logan smiled. “Exactly. Let’s go,” I stood upright but right as I stepped away from Kaden, Harvey appeared.
I halted, completely taken aback.
“Pilates on the beach in the morning, lunch in the afternoon and drinks in the evening,” he practically sang with a brunette to his left. “And this is my girl Penelope who’ll be joining us,” he leaned in to whisper.
We greeted each other with a hug before Harvey spoke again. “Are you in or are you in?”
“Oh, I’min!” I confidently nodded and he took my hands in his. Him and I, along with Penelope, squealed in excitement, until Chase cleared his throat.
Harvey noticed both men, then shot me the‘oh shit’ eyes. “Well, I’ll be seeing you in the morning, beloved,” he air kissed both of my cheeks then disappeared with a finger wave, and so did Penelope.
Innocently, I smiled back at the guys and Kaden swung his arm around me as we left the bar.Daddy Coolby Boney M was playing through the speakers around us and I sneakily moved my hips.
As soon as we were out from under the pavilion and back on the sand, I slipped my other arm around Logan’s waist to pull him closer to my side.
The air was cool, the waves crashed against the shore gently, and I was in the company of my three favourite people.
I glanced back and we’d put a great distance between us and everyone else. Mischievously, I grinned before pulling out of their hold and running towards the water.
“Dakota,” Chase pinned me with a look and I slightly lifted my dress, walking backwards.
“Join me,” I giggled, only stopping when the soft waves splashed my ankles. The three of them stopped walking entirely, and turned to face me. “What? You scared?” I mused, and it didn’t take long for Logan to kick his shoes off before he charged for me.
