His gaze drops briefly to my stomach. Then returns. “They’re active.”
“Yes.”
“I saw.”
“You see everything.”
“Not true.”
“Most things.”
“Enough.”
I tilt my head slightly. “Do you need to see everything?”
“No.”
“That’s progress.”

“I moved the bed,” I say.
