The man is relentless in his mission to get me pregnant. Considering how much cum he’s…deposited, I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner.
It’s not just about getting me pregnant though. My big softie of a biker president wants to hold a baby in his arms. He wants to be there for the messy moments, and the ones filled with joy.
In the dark, when we’re holding each other, he’s whispered all of his secret desires and dreams along my skin. Having a family with me is at the top of his wish list.
Which is why I’ve been afraid to say anything. I don’t want him to be devastated if something goes wrong. I don’t want to be the one to bring that kind of pain into his life.
I’ve shared all my fears with my girls. Graycie has tried to get me to give him the chance to be there for me, but I’ve been stubborn. Apparently, she decided to give me a little push.
Damn it.
I look up at Titus to find him already looking down at me. There’s no surprise there, but what I’m not expecting is the knowing look on his face.
My eyes dart between his, studying him, searching for the truth in his gaze.
I narrow my eyes and cross my arms across my chest. “You already know,” I don’t pose it as a question because it isn’t one.
He tries to fight it, but one side of his mouth lifts and it’s all the answer I need.
I smack his very hard shoulder with the back of my hand and whine, “Titus.”
His arms wrap around me and he draws me closer. The warmth of him seeps into me and I rest my forehead on his broad chest while his hand slides up and down my spine.
“Of course, I already know,” he rumbles and kisses the top of my head like a blessing. “I know your body, Ezra, very fucking well.”
“I was going to tell you,” the words come out muffled against his chest.
“You were scared,” he counters, his hand keeping up the rhythm of his touch like a metronome.
“I was petrified,” I confirm and up the stakes.
“Petrified,” he echoes. “You know all I want to do is stand at your side through it all,” he tries to mask it, but I can hear a hint of hurt in his voice.
I peer up at him and swallow hard. “It had nothing to do with me being afraid of how you’d react to me being pregnant.”
Something flashes in his eyes when I say the word ‘pregnant’ and all I can do is roll my eyes. The man is insatiable. And very into breeding me. Honestly, I’m right there with him. I can’t think about it too long or else this is going to take a turn. Very quickly.
“I just didn’t want anything to happen and for you to be disappointed or devastated. The first trimester has the greatest risk, and I just didn’t want to be the one to give you what you desire most and then have it taken away,” the words are barely audible as I force them past my lips.
“Teach,” his voice breaks and I swear he squeezes me against him just a little bit more, “you don’t have to manage me like that. I’m a man, I can take it and I can take your worry and your fear too. Would I be disappointed if something happened? Of course, and I would grieve with you.” His hand cups my belly. “But it’s a risk I’m willing to take because it means being at your side and supporting you as we grow our family.”
“Titus,” I breathe out before wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him down to me. “I love you,” I whisper right before I press my lips to his.
He takes over the kiss immediately and pours everything into it. The joy, the hope, the love. And, of course, the need.
“I love you, Teach,” he mumbles before deepening the kiss even more and I melt against him, the feeling of being right where I belong washes over me.
