“I take it that it was a good workout,” she says.

“Why do you say that?” I ask.

“You look…worked out…” she says, and her cheeks flush another shade of pink before she bites her lip and passes me.

“You look great too,” I tell her as I follow her into the house. “The dress suits you.”

“Thank you,” she says sweetly, seemingly already recovered from the moment before. “I’m not so sure Sadie would agree with you, though.”

I frown. I gotta be honest. Mentioning her friend always dampers my mood a bit. Partly because I am under the impression that Sadie has a habit of making Olivia feel inferior, which is ludicrous. And partly because my personal experience with her was…complicated.

“Let me guess,” I say. “Sadie didn’t think the dress showed enough skin for whatever bar she dragged you to this evening?”

Olivia blinks. I wonder for a moment if I’ve made a mistake until she follows up with, “You do know her well…”

Okay, I am done talking about Sadie. Hell, I’m done talking in general. We both know that’s not why she’s here.

“I need to take a shower,” I tell her, heading down the hall. “Feel free to do whatever you want.”

Once I am in the bathroom, I shed my pants and flip the shower on, stepping in before it has time to warm up. Honestly, I need the cold. Just the scent of Olivia had my cock solid in my pants, and while she was busy blushing, I made a point of tucking it in the elastic band of my briefs.

I stand under the rainfall, running my hands through my hair with my eyes closed. Suddenly, I can smell her again, and I swear the air around my body feels warmer.

I open my eyes to find Olivia standing in front of me, naked.

“What are you doing?” I ask, my voice edged with an aroused growl. “Whatever I want…” she says, and I pull her against me hard. My lips crash into hers, and I spin her around under the showerhead.

Olivia lets out a shriek.

“What the hell! It’s freezing!” she cries while clinging to me.

“I was trying to cool down,” I tell her. “I had a little problem…”

“You mean a big problem…” she says, looking down. “Not that I consider it a problem.”

As I flip the water to warm, Olivia wraps her hand around my dick. My jaw unhinges at the sudden contact, and I brace my hand against the wall as hers pumps up and down the length of my dick.

“Jesus,” I let out. I used to swear that hand jobs had to be overrated. That nothing could compare to the real D to V. Hell, from my experience, even blow jobs are overrated. All that choking and gagging and…teeth. But this woman, this woman who I don’t think has an unsavory amount of experience, is astonishingly good at all three. And I only find it astonishing because that particular trifecta is unheard of.

But back to the moment.

“How are you so good at this?” I grunt as her soft, wet hand runs up and down the length of my shaft.

Chapter 30

Olivia

One would thinkthat after having spectacular sex, I’d be long gone in la-la land. After all, the man nearly fucked me into a coma. Yet it’s 2am and I am lying in Luca’s bed staring at the ceiling. I want to sleep. I am really tired. But I can’t. My mind is running wild.

I think things might have gone too far. I don’t mean in the bedroom, though I suppose that part should be included because the lines have blurred. They’re so blurry that I can’t make out what I should be doing versus what I want to be doing versus what I actually am doing.

But despite how murky the waters are, I do know one thing for certain–

Luca and I are dating.

That much is obvious.

And even though the label isn’t sewn in, we check all the boxes. We are monogamous, from what I know. We aren’t just sleeping together; we are going on real dates. And everything is getting more tangled up emotionally. I mean, the man has opened upabout his childhood, for crying out loud. Not only that, but he smiles. And I don’t think I need to mention the significance of showing outward joy for Luca Laurent.
