Her cries quietened but didn't stop completely.

“I love you, Iris. I said it that night, but you didn't hear me, so I am going to say it again now. And I'll keep saying it until you agree to stay with me.” Lightly, I pressed my lips to the shell of her ear. “I love you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Epilogue

iris

I knowpeople thought I was crazy for falling straight back into his arms, even Maggie had looked kind of shocked by the quickness of it. But Cyber ha wanted And sometimes it surprised me too, but for me, it had always been Cyber.

The bad boy who had pinged up on my laptop years ago. And turned my world upside down. He had sent me into a tailspin. For a time I lost control of my life. I had suffered, but it was always his face that kept me going. Even if for a time I had hated him.

I wasn't spinning anymore.

Being with Cyber grounded me. And I was happy for the first time in years. I was actually happy. Part of me believed still believed I didn’t deserve it, that maybe all of this was just a dream. When those moods hit all I had to do was look down at the ring on my finger, its diamond glistening and I knew I was loved.

Not just loved but cherished.

Pausing in the doorway of the bathroom, my hair still wet from the shower I stared at his sleeping form.

“If your done ogling me, Iris, you should come back to bed?” Cyber blinked his eyes open, but there was no sign of sleep in them. He had been awake for a while, just waiting for me to come out of the shower.

“You’re not meant to be here Cyber.” I smiled at him knowingly. “Tradition says…”

“Screw tradition.” He was off the bed in an instant, his tattooed hand wrapping itself around my wrist and tugging me towards him. I didn’t put up a fight. There was no point in doing that anymore. “Can’t a man be with his wife in the morning?”

Laughing, I threw my head back. The towel that covered my body trapped between us was the only thing covering my nudity. “ I’m not your wife yet and You’re not meant to see the bride before the wrong Cyber, it’s bad luck.”

His eyes lowered. “I think we have all the bad luck we are going to get don’t you?” playfully he nipped at my shoulder. And I felt myself melt against him.

“I hope so.”

“Come back to bed Iris, we have a while before…”

I let him pull me towards the bed, the towel falling forgotten at my feet. I int bother to try and cover myself. The days of hiding my nudity were long gone. Cyber loved every inch of me.

“I need to start getting ready.” I didn’t get the chance to finish as he swung me around. My calves hit the bed frame and with a laugh, I fell backwards onto the mattress.

“You could show up naked and still be the most beautiful woman in the room Iris. bed hair and dragon breath and all.” Cyber hovered over me, his weight held on the elbows on either side of my head.

Laughing I pursed my lips, my look playful as he started kisses down my jawline “You want me to show up naked?”

His lips froze. “Fuck no.” he finally admitted. “No one gets to see you like this but me.”

“Then you need to let me up so I can get dressed.”

“Cant you spare a few minutes to kiss your future husband?”

Laughing I pressed my lips to his. “Always. But only a few. We don’t want to be late for our own wedding, do we?”

It started out as a small kiss, but Cyber deepened it almost instantly. His tongue sliding across my bottom lip and demanding entrance. I couldn’t resist him, not all those years ago and especially not now.

Hell, I didn’t even want to try.

He didn’t answer m just carried on kissing me. Pulling my legs up around his waist he ground his erection into the wetness at my core.

“Tell me to stop and ill stop Iris, tell me to get off and let you get ready and I will..”

I silenced him with my mouth,

I would never tell him to get off of me because I couldnt get enough of him.

And anyway what did it matter?

Today was our wedding day, we could be late if we wanted to.
