Aubrey
The haze of that night was slow to leave me not just because they had given me exactly what I needed but because they took care of me afterwards as well.
And they had asked me to be theirs. Something I had agreed to without actually thinking about it. I had thought about it since though, long and hard.
Sure, there was a lot of things to go over. Limits and rules were of course important but I wanted to know if I got on with them as well. If I was going to spend time with them then that was equally important.
Which was why I had taken special care in choosing my outfit for the dinner date they had set up. I wanted to look nice for them. They had seen me without my mask but I had yet to see them. And the little I had seen had been gorgeous.
“Aubrey?”
My feet slowed as my name was called. I didn’t need to turn around to know who had called my name. My ex.
After months of not seeing him, of not even hearing his voice he was right here outside the restaurant where I was about to meet my two future doms? What were the odds of that?
Wiping my suddenly sweaty palms on my dress I turned to him with a smile. “Hi.” looking at him now I wasn’t sure why I was so nervous.
“You look great Aubrey.” He bent down to kiss me like he still had that right. And his lips landed on my cheek. “But what are you doing here? Were you looking for me?” His blue eyes searched my face. I knew the moment he saw the marks on my neck. The slight pinkish marks where Benji’s and James kisses had turned from soft and gentle to marking. My body was covered in them.
“I’m going to dinner. Why would I be looking for you?”
He shrugged. “I thought maybe the office had told you where to find me. Dinner you said? Anyone, I know?”
“She’s here to have dinner with me.” The voice was deep, a masculine tenor that matched perfectly the heavy arm that slid around my waist. I let myself be moved.
“Benji?” I breathed his name out in a sigh. I knew it was him. Even though I had never really seen his face.
“Hello again Aubrey,” His lips hovered over mine. His eyes never leaving mine. “You look even more beautiful today than you did last night.” His fingers trailed over the hickey he had left on my throat.
My ex-boyfriend made a strangled sound in the back of his throat, his face turning redder and redder by the second. He looked like he was being strangled.
“You two? Aubrey, are you seeing my boss? Are you two…”
He didn't get to finish. “Three.” James stepped out of the restaurant, looking dashing with his shirt sleeves rolled up over his forearms.
My breath caught in my throat.
They were more than I had ever hoped. Handsome didn’t even cover it. And they were both looking at me like they couldn’t believe their luck.
“Us three.” There was no hesitation in the way James caught my lips with his. His tongue parted my lips to tangle with mine. Right there on the street, in front of everyone.
In front of my ex, who was watching us with his mouth opening and closing like a fish.
“Aubrey?”
He was shocked, I knew that. I would have been as well if the roles had been reversed. Benji and James were his bosses.
“I’m sorry but….”
Benji cut me off. His arm tightening around my waist. “You have nothing to be sorry for Aubrey. Absolutely nothing. He let you go. Me and James won’t. We know how precious you are. And we plan on looking after all of your needs.”
Lifting my chin I grinned at him. “I would like that.”
“Good because from now on there isn't just you. There is only us. The three of us.”
