I keep pushing on Tony, but he’s too heavy to get off me. He licks my neck and pulls my sheer top, tearing it. I squeeze my eyes shut and pray this isn’t happening.
Chapter Twenty-Two
LIVIANNA/LILY
Then
When They Let The Darkness In
It wasn’t the way he touched me. It was how the world looked away like I was already gone.
“Please don’t do this.” I suck in a breath and hold it.
“Oh, come on. You bring me up here, tease me with that smile, and now you expect me to be a saint?” Tony tugs one side of my bra down over my breast and sucks on it.
“No, stop!” I buck.
The room shrinks to his weight and the sound of my own breath. This isn’t happening. I don’t let it register in my head.
He grinds into me with his erection digging in between my thighs. I push on his chest harder, but he takes my wrists in one hand and pins them above my head.
“Stay put, little girl.” His empty gaze floats over my face. “This will be a lot easier on you if you do.”
Adrenaline races through my blood. “They’ll kill you if you do this. You’ll go to jail.”
He gives me a wicked smile. “Nobody will believe youdidn’t ask for this. You’ve been giving me cocaine, drinks, and asked me into your suite. Think, little girl. Think.”
The hand that isn’t holding me down goes between my legs.
He moves my thong over and pushes two fingers into me. “Perfect. Even if you’re not a virgin, you’re still tight like one.”
My body goes numb, but then something powerful takes over. I thrash and kick. There’s no way I’m going to let this take place. One of us will die before I let it. I hit something on the end table.
I hear a faint voice. “How can I help you, Mr. Hemings?”
“Help me!” I scream. “He’s trying to rape me!”
Tony freezes and I yell again. “Help, please! Send security now!”
He releases me but slaps my face hard as he gets off me. “You teasing bitch.”
He storms out of the room seconds later. The door slams shut. My cold body trembles and I push up to find the phone. I paw around until I do.
I bring it to my ear. “Please help me. This is Livianna Hemings. Find him.”
“Security is on its way,” the man on the line says in a strong, controlled voice.God, I need that.
“Is the perpetrator still in your room?” His deep concern is evident.
“No.” My breathing accelerates. My skin itches and a tear trickles down my face. “Can you stay on the line and talk to me?”
“I won’t let you go until security arrives.” His tone is thick with command. “Stay on the phone and breathe. You’re safe now. Nobody can hurt you. Do you understand?”
I release myself into his charge. This man on the other end of the line knows how to make a woman in need feel safe.
“Ms. Hemings, is there a blanket you can wrap yourself in?”
“I don’t know.” With my body frozen, I shudder. “Where would I find one?”
