I walk out of the bathroom after having a cold bath. The journey from the city back here was longer than when we drove from here to the city. I feel exhausted, but I’m glad we are finally home. Gary sat in front of his laptop, editing the video we filmed at Lilah’s apartment.

“Hey, handsome,” I tease him, tickling his ribs.

“Sophia, you know I have to finish editing this video tonight, right?” he expresses, laughing.

“Do you?” I sit astride on his laps, droplets of water dripping from my body to his.

“Mm, I want to, but I don’t think it would be possible,” he cups my face in his hand, and he pulls my lips to meet his. I curl my hands around his neck, and the world melts away as we kiss. The word ‘love’ isn’t just strong enough to explain my feelings for this man. I chuckle as he lifts me and drops me on the bed gently.

“I will keep you always and forever,” he confesses before pulling me into another more passionate kiss.

Gary means so much to me. I would not be the person I am today if it was not for him. If there’s anything I want in this world, it’s to love him forever and ever. He is my perfect man and my lucky charm.
