“Marley, we have been over this, and you say it about everyone,” he points out.
“I do not,” I argue back.
“Yes, you do. People are different; everyone is a little odd in their own way.” He slaps my leg, adding, “Even you.”
My mouth twitches. “I am not!”
Blowing my concern off, he says, “Everyone is, and I love it about you.”
A smile forms on my face. “You must love me a lot.”
“You’re my forever, babe.”
“I love you too, Ryan. How could I not? You just made me levitate from my body.”
He snorts, then wraps his hand around my jaw and pulls my lips to his. “There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you.”

I’m hiding behind a thick tree with a lot of overgrown shrubs behind me, sweating my ass off, maniacally grinning to myself, knowing it was totally worth it.
I look down at my phone and double-check that I got the whole thing on video. Yep, clear as fuck, too.
I retrace my steps back to our campsite through the woods, ensuring I won’t run into Marley or Ryan by accident, in casethey have to go to the bathroom or anything. Then I would have to explain why I’m over here alone with nothing on me.
