“Take me to bed, Rei.” Bailey whispered.

I put away the lotion and scooped her into my arms. Bailey squealed happily as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I stared into her face while making my way across the room to lay her on the bed then scooted in behind her.

“No matter where you are,watashi no chisana hoshi, will always be my home.” I told her, softly. “For as long as you love me, I can do anything.”

Bailey rolled over in my arms and rested a gentle palm to the side of my neck. “My home is right here.” She whispered between soft kisses. “With you and our baby.”

I rested a hand on her stomach and smiled. “Don’t worry little one, take your time. Daddy can wait. And he’ll be right here when you’re ready.”

Bailey smiled at me.

The last thing I heard before I pulled her even closer to me, was her soft voice, wrapped around a Jamaican accent, whispering her love for me.

“Anata o hontoni aishiteimasu.” I managed. “I love you so much.”
