As she lifted the cup to his lips, the liquid pulsed with elven energy, binding their souls together in a sacred union.

The moment their lips touched the elixir, a soft glow enveloped Ella and Ryu, casting a luminous aura around them. The elven magic surged through their bodies, solidifying their bond and intertwining their destinies.

And then they were married, and their family joined in with the drinking of sake and a traditional cheer of congratulations to the new married couple.

“Kampai!” Lord Kaito shouted, and the rest of the family joined in, followed by a whoop from Hiroshi that made Ryu grin.

After the ritual drinking of sake, Ella was ushered back to her old room to change into akosodepresented by Ryu, which was a five-color gold and silverkosode, featuring auspicious symbols.

“You look beautiful, my dear,” Lady Clara said as Ella entered the door. She smiled at her new mother-in-law, bowing when her father-in-law, Lord Kaito, beamed at her proudly.

“Welcome to the family, my dear. It is our honor to have you as our new daughter.”

As the celebration continued into the night, the Twilight Court came alive with music, dance, and merriment.

Elven nobles and human guests mingled, united in their celebration of love and unity. The enchanting melodies of elven harps and the rhythmic beats of drums filled the air, urging everyone to dance and revel in the joyous occasion.

Ella and Ryu danced together, their movements flowing in perfect harmony. The room seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them, lost in a world of their own creation. With each step, their love deepened, their souls entwined in an eternal embrace.

Throughout the evening, elven magic punctuated the festivities, manifesting in bursts of vibrant light and enchanting displays.

Flowers bloomed in breathtaking patterns, leaving trails of iridescent petals in their wake. Sparkling fireflies filled the air, their luminescent glow adding to the ethereal atmosphere.

As the night drew to a close, Ella and Ryu basked in the warmth of their love, surrounded by the love and well wishes of their friends and family.

In their hearts, they knew that this day marked the beginning of a new chapter, a journey filled with adventure, challenges, and unwavering devotion.

As the news of their union spread, there was a sense of renewed hope and unity among the Four Kingdoms.

The people celebrated the ascension of their new prince and the unity he shared with his human mate Ella, a symbol of a brighter future where the races of men and Elves lived together in peace.

With their bond solidified and their love aflame, Ella and Ryu embarked on a new chapter of their lives.

Together, they would face the trials and tribulations of ruling the Twilight Court, their hearts entwined, their love guiding them forward.

And as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting its ethereal glow upon the land, Ella knew that their journey was far from over.

But with Ryu by her side, she felt invincible, ready to embrace whatever destiny had in store for them.

EPILOGUE

“So, who sent you?”

Princess Nitya took a deep breath. “I was sent here by my brother, Prince Sekhar, on a mission to destabilize the Twilight Court and find a ruler who would align with the Sunvaara Empire."

“And who would that be?”

Nitya winced. “Lord Kenji.”

“So, you were working with Kenji all along?” Ryu frowned; his eyes hurt.

"Yes, Lord Ryu. I had no choice but to obey my brother's orders. But as I spent more time here, I realized the true essence of your character. I could see the compassion, the strength, and the desire for peace within you. I believe you are the best ruler for your people."

Ryu sighed as he looked at the princess. "I cannot break the alliance with Sunvaara. The unity between our kingdoms is crucial for the stability of our lands. But make no mistake, I will never trust Prince Sekhar. And you cannot remain here any longer. You shall return to Sunvaara and never return to the Twilight Court. Your ship sets sail tomorrow.”

The princess bowed her head.

"I understand, Lord Ryu. I will not interfere with your alliance. But know that Prince Sekhar remains a threat. His ambitions and manipulations will continue, even if he has been temporarily thwarted."

“Thank you, but this Court is no longer your concern,” Ryu said coldly. His eyes drifted to his Princess Consort, who stood regally at his side, his meaning clear: he had another to share the task with him now.

Nitya bowed.

“Goodbye, Lord Ogumi Ryu.”
