Returning his attention to a tightly furled nipple, he runs his tongue over it before blowing a stream of air over the wet tip. My body clamoring with the need for more, I encourage him to move. God, he feels so good inside me. Moving with him, we find our rhythm.
The sound of sex fills the quiet room as he thrusts into me, over and over again, heightening my already supercharged senses. Treven sets a killer pace – this isn’t the soft, gentlelovemaking I was anticipating from the slow start – and it isn’t long before my slick walls begin to ripple with an impending orgasm. A first for me. I’ve never climaxed twice so quickly in a row.
Clearly feeling the warning ripple, Treven quickens his pace, and it doesn’t take much effort on his part to send me careening over the edge into quite possibly the most intense orgasm I’ve had to date. And isn’t long, barely more than a couple of strokes, and I see the tendons in Treven’s neck pop out.
He shuts his eyes, teeth clenched, and rides his climax out in silence before collapsing, shifting his weight to the side at the last minute so as not to smother me. For long moments we simply lie there, soaking each other in, savoring the blissful afterglow of a good loving.
Eventually, he levers himself to his feet and holds out a hand to me.
“Come on, princess, up you come. I’m hot and sweaty, and in need of another quick shower before I crawl into bed.”
I hesitate for just a second, but then gather my courage and ask, “Would it be okay if I joined you? Just a quick in and out, no funny business. It’ll go quicker than if I have to wait for you.”
“Yes, of course. Come on then.”
We hurry through the shower before crawling into bed. The mattress is soft and inviting, coaxing a luxurious stretch out of me. As is his habit, I’ve discovered, Treven settles on his back, and I curl into his side. Resting my head on his shoulder, I drop a tiny kiss on his naked skin.
“I love you too, Treven. I never stopped, even when I was mad at you for not finding me. No man has ever captured my attention like you. There’s never been another I’ve wanted quite as much.
“I had a few lackluster relationships, if you can call them that. But they never lasted long, because none of them were you.My heart knew what it wanted, and they weren’t it. So I drifted from day-to-day, happy with my own company, for the most part.
“Whatever you want to call what brought us back together – fate, kismet, destiny – it doesn’t matter. I believe we were always meant to be.”
Resting his head on mine, I feel his chest expand on a sigh. “Yeah, same. I got into the lifestyle pretty early on, and I used that as an excuse for never getting involved. I broke my own rule only twice.
“Casual sex was never really my thing, it was more a means to scratch an itch, because I had no desire to get into a committed relationship. The two I had was more an arrangement of convenience for both parties. The ladies knew the score.
“If I couldn’t have you, I didn’t want anyone else. The guys used to joke around and tease me because I was so adept at avoiding messy entanglements. They even nicknamed it Digit’s Deflection.
“But it’s because I knew you were my one, my person. And somewhere, deep down, I knew we’d find our way back to each other. That’s why I never stopped looking. And now here you are, in my arms.”
“And right here is where I intend to stay. For the rest of our lives.”
“That’s sounds perfect to me.”
I couldn’t agree more. It does sound absolutely perfect. And I cannot wait.
