She had barely shaken her head before Kelly’s lips were devouring her,his hands roaming up her back and gripping the nape of her neck. Holding her head still, he continued his exploration while she moaned and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer than two humans should be.
It was as right as she remembered. Even more right than that. It was perfect.
A loud throat clearing had them jumping apart. Vin stood in front of two couples, who were grinning at her and Kelly.
“Get a room,” one of them said.
“Good idea.” Kelly took her hand and pulled her along.
Dahlia couldn’t stop the laughter that bubbled from her chest. When she had arrived at Georgia Adventures, she couldn’t even imagine it would turn out like this. She thought she and Kelly would discuss what had happened and come to an amicable end, so it wouldn’t be awkward when they were all with Wayne. But this…this fun, loving, amazing man was hers, and she wasn’t going to give him up.
He took her to the cramped office. With the large desk covered with computer equipment, a guest chair and shelves holding binders and an old box of doughnuts, there was barely any room for the two of them. Kelly locked the door, then spun her and pressed her against the wall, devouring her lips with a passion she’d only seen in movies. And she didn’t have to pretend to be someone else to have it happen.
He touched his forehead to hers, his hands roaming down her arms, around her back, to the nape of her neck. “Think Wayne is going to kill me?”
Dahlia hooked her own arms around his shoulders and gave a laugh. “I think Wayne will kill me if we cut into his gaming time. But you? You’re fine.” She spread her hands against his chest, feeling the muscle and power and erratic beat of his heart. “Now shut up and kiss me again.”
The End
