I lift my gaze and watch Buck stare at Rowan across the room. He tries to hide his gawking, but Kendall is right, he does seem obsessed. Rowan laughs at something Dec said and I swear steam comes out of Buck’s ears.

“Did you see that?” Kendall asks.

“Interesting.”

“Do you think Miles has a crush on her?”

“A crush? That sounds too innocent for a man like Miles Buckingham.”

“We should go on a double date.”

“Easy there, fiancé.” I turn her around and settle my hands on her lower back. “No need to interfere in their love lives. Let’s focus on ours first.”

“There’s nothing wrong with our love life. It’s absolutely perfect.” She goes up on her toes and kisses me.

“Damn fucking straight it is.”

“Get a room, you two,” Declan cat calls from the other side of the room.

“No. Donotget a room. I don’t need you two having sex all over my house,” Walker says, handing me the darts. “You’re up. Hopefully you can keep your hands off your girlfriend for two minutes and hit the board.”

“She’s not my girlfriend.” I aim the first dart and just barely miss the center. “She’s my fiancé.” This time, I hit the bullseye.
