"I should have known what they were up to."

"As we've seen from Caroline, even people we love can keep secrets from us."

"That's true. Thanks for having us here."

She nodded as the three of them returned to their car, along with George Marconi, leaving her and Adam alone with their friends.

"Can I ask what you're going to do with the diamond?" Hannah enquired.

"Well, with Ava's help and with Charles's reluctant cooperation, we've been able to prevent the diamond from going to Charles," she replied. "After much conversation with me and others, he finally was able to acknowledge that Caroline's great love was never for him, but for Phoebe."

"So, you'll keep the diamond?" Gianna asked.

"No. I'm going to sell it, and I'm giving the money to the charities that both Caroline and Phoebe supported. Sharing their love with others less fortunate is really what they would have wanted."

"That makes sense," Hannah said. "But you could have kept it. It was yours."

"I have a new diamond now." She took her hand out of her pocket. She'd been subconsciously keeping the ring tucked away so that she wouldn't distract anyone from Phoebe's memorial.

She laughed as her friends squealed with delight, and Brodie and Jake slapped Adam on the shoulder. And then everyone was hugging her again. Chelsea was the last, and tears were in her eyes.

"I'm so happy for you and Adam," she said. "You both deserve all the happiness. And now Lizzie and I finally have a sister-in-law."

"It's about time," Lizzie said with a laugh. "It took you long enough, Adam."

He laughed. "I just had to wait for the right woman to show up in town. Thanks to Phoebe and maybe a little help from the universe," he added dryly, "she finally came."

"I'm so glad you believe in magic again," she murmured, as she moved into his arms.

He smiled. "I believe in you, Molly. That's the magic."

"Kiss her already," Hannah said.

They laughed, then kissed, then laughed again as they joined their friends and started moving into the future together.
