“You taste so fucking good,” he told her as he ravaged her pussy.

until she gripped his hair, pulling him away.

“Fuck, Mac! I can’t…too sensitive…,” she panted, gripping his hair and trying to pull him off.

Mac wiped his mouth with his hand before standing and pressing the button on the elevator.

When the elevator began moving, he pulled her close and kissed her, making sure to pour every ounce of love he had for her into it.

As the elevator dinged, signaling their arrival, Mac pulled back just enough to breathe, his forehead resting against hers. Jessie’s eyes fluttered open, and her lips parted as she tried to catch her breath.

“We’re not done,” Mac whispered, a grin making its way across his lips.

Jessie smirked, her playful expression making its way back. “I would think you’d have more than that in you.”

“Oh, you!” he said as elevator doors opened, and they stumbled into the penthouse, their laughter echoing through the space. Ignoring the beautiful views of the city skyline, Jessie tugged Mac toward the bedroom, her hand wrapped tightly around his.

The second they crossed the threshold, Mac spun her around, pulling her against him, his hands resting firmly on her hips. “You know what happens now, right?” he whispered, his voice low and teasing against her ear.

Jessie smiled, leaning into him. “Oh, I think I have a pretty good idea.”

Mac’s hands traveled up her side, his fingers tracing her skin through the fabric of her dress.

Their laughter filled the room again as they quickly stripped off their clothes and fell into bed, the teasing never losing itsedge. But even with the playful banter, an underlying emotional connection ran deep. Jessie made him feel alive.

He spent the next hour worshipping her body before making slow love to her.

As they lay tangled together, their breaths slowly evening out, Mac brushed a strand of hair from Jessie’s face. His hand lingered on her cheek.

“You know, you drive me crazy,” he said softly, his thumb gently tracing her jawline.

Jessie smiled, her eyes half-closed, still catching her breath. “The feeling is mutual.”

He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. “I don’t think I can ever get enough of you.”

Jessie laughed, the sound filled with warmth. “Good, because neither do I.”

As they lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, Mac knew that this was exactly where he was meant to be—right by Jessie’s side, forever.

Chapter Nineteen

Jessie woke up to the sensation of a cool breeze filtering through the open door of the terrace. The first thing she noticed was the empty spot next to her where Mac had been sleeping.

She stretched her arms and legs, feeling the slight ache in her muscles, but she smiled as the previous night's memories flooded back—Mac, the gala, and the passion that had consumed them afterward. It was a night she’d never forget.

She sat up, and the scent of something delicious drifted into the room from the open door. Moments later, she heard soft footsteps, and Mac appeared in the doorway. He was holding a tray loaded with breakfast. His eyes lit up when he saw her awake.

“Good morning, gorgeous,” he said, his voice warm and playful. “Thought I’d surprise you with breakfast out on the terrace,” he told her as he walked outside and set the tray on the table he must have set up earlier.

Jessie’s smile widened as she pushed the blanket and sheet back and stood, slipping into the silk robe that was draped over the chair. “You know, you’re spoiling me,” she teased, walking over to him and kissing him softly.

“I know,” Mac replied with a lopsided grin. He slipped his hand around her waist and led her toward the balcony. “and I plan on doing it every day.”

The fresh autumn morning air hit her as they stepped outside. The park below was already alive with activity. She would never get tired of the view. It was breathtaking, just like the man standing next to her. Mac pulled out a chair for her, and Jessie sat down, taking in the spread of fresh fruit, omelets, sausage, toast, orange juice, and fresh coffee.

“This looks amazing. I could get used to this,” Jessie said, taking a sip of her coffee as she looked at Mac.

His eyes softened as he sat across from her. “Last night was something else. You were incredible—both in the public limelight and in bed. And in the car,” he teased, making her blush.
