I feel Liam’s arms wrap around my waist. Lowering my arms and head, I smile widely at him.

“Thank you so much for this.”

“Anything for you,Féileacán.Anything.”

“Absolutely not,” Rhys grunts with his arms crossed over his chest.

Sarah’s laughter fills my ears, and I can’t help but chuckle alongside her. “It’s funny that you think you get a say, Rhys.”

I lean my head on Liam’s shoulder, his hand slides up and down my arm.

“You’re going to get yourself killed on that thing,” Rhys growls, stepping toward Sarah and her new blacked-out motorcycle.

She pats the seat with a flirty smile. “Oh, come on, baby. You know you’re ready to be my backpack.”

They’re bickering rises in volume and Liam, Declan, Paige, and I step away.

Paige shakes her head and laughs under her breath. “I wasn’t expecting a motorcycle when Sarah said she had something to show us.”

Declan laughs and pulls her into his side. “I wasn’t sure what to expect but considering how impulsive Sarah is, I think a motorcycle isn’t as crazy as she could have gone.”

We laugh in our agreement and stop in front of the SUV.

“We better head out if we’re going to catch our flight.” Liam says opening the door for me.

Paige pulls me into a tight hug. “I love you, Em.” She whispers and I swallow the lump in my throat.

“I love you too, Paige.”

She wipes the tear that falls from the corner of her eye and smiles.

Declan wraps his arms around me and kisses my temple. “I’m so proud of you, Em. So fucking proud of you.” His voice is thick with emotion.

I nod, my lip quivering. “Thank you,” I whisper.

Releasing me, Declan hugs Liam. “Thank you for taking care of her.”

Liam doesn’t say anything, but his eyes and smile are warm.

Sliding into the car, we wave our goodbye then head to the private airstrip.

“Please buckle your seatbelts as we prepare to land in Ireland.” The pilot says over the intercom.

My fingers clench onto the arms of the seat so tightly that my nails dig into the tan-colored leather.

Liam’s finger curl around my hand and he pulls it into his lap. I peer up into his eyes. The swirls of blue, amber, and green soften and he smiles warmly.

“Everything is going to be okay.” He pats the top of my hand with his then lifts it to his lips.

I release a deep breath and try to lower my shoulders from my ears.

I slightly jostle when the wheels of the landing gear meet the tarmac. My stomach twists with anxiousness and my heart threatens to burst from my chest.

When we slow to a stop, I feel seconds away from throwing up my lunch.

Liam reaches over, unbuckles me, and helps me stand. With shaky legs, I walk behind him to the exit. The flight attendant smiles and dips her chin.

“Welcome back to Ireland, Miss Emily.”
