I smiled contentedly at his words, knowing that I had found someone who accepted every part of me – even the darkest desires within.
"I'm going to be in so much trouble from HR," I panted, half-joking, half-serious.
Later, we rested together in the wake of our passionate encounter, drained yet content. David's strong arms encircled me, his chest rise and fall with slow, even breaths. I stared up atthe ceiling, my mind reeling with the intensity of the experience we'd just shared.
It was then that he whispered those life-changing words, "I love you, Candy Kane."
The weight of his confession settled over me like a warm blanket, filling me with the warmth and security I'd always craved. "I love you too," I managed to croak, my voice choked with emotion.
In that moment, I knew without a doubt that I'd found my home in his arms, and our journey together had only just begun.
That night, we slept in the nursery. The outside world might as well have not existed. As we drifted off to sleep entangled in each other's arms, my mind raced with possibilities of our future together. Would we ever leave the safety of the nursery? Would we learn to navigate the outside world as Daddy and little, or would we choose to remain forever in our hidden sanctuary?
The next day, David surprised me with an adventure outside our little bubble. He woke me up with a gentle shake, his blue eyes twinkling with excitement. "Ready for a little adventure?"
I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, yawning cutely. "I'm always up for an adventure, Daddy."
He chuckled and helped me out of the oversized bed, dressed me in a cute, fluffy white dress with matching bloomers underneath. He even tied my hair up in a messy bun with a sparkly bow. My heart skipped a beat at how effortlessly he was already taking care of my needs, both big and small.
We drove for about half an hour, leaving the bustling city behind us for a more serene, leafy suburb. The house he pulled up to was straight out of a fairytale, with a white picket fence and a charming front porch.
"What are we doing here . . . ?" I started to ask, but he cut me off with a finger to his lips.
He led me inside, the house smelling of freshly baked cookies and vanilla. As my eyes adjusted to the dimmer lighting, I took in the pale pastel walls, the plush furniture, and the baby grand piano in the corner. But it was the nursery that stole my breath away.
It was the exact replica of the one we had left behind, down to the last detail.
"I wanted our sanctuary to be wherever we are, Lily. My business trip was a little more personal than I admitted. I was busy buying this house. For you, and for me. I . . . I hope you like it."
I threw myself into his arms, so overwhelmed with love and gratitude I couldn't even speak. This man, my Daddy, had gone through so much trouble to ensure I felt safe and loved no matter where we were.
“I love it.”
“Good. From now on, there will be no more worries in your life. You are free. Free to express yourself, free to do what you want. I’ll be your Daddy, and you’ll be my Little, and I promise, we’ll be happy.”
I knew that we would. And that this new life would befullof color.
