“Jolene,” she murmured between sips of coffee.

“Miss Jolene.” She insisted. “Would love to, but I have to look my mother in the eye eventually, and she will slap me for bad manners if I even attempted to call you by your first name. So your just going to have to live with Miss Jolene. I mean no disrespect.” Tiara explained.

“Nothing wrong with good manners then. Something that is sometimes lacking in kids these days,” Jolene let the topic dropped, and Tiara went back to her original objections.

“It is obvious to me that Jordan’s upbringing was different than mine. He had all the privileges that money and a family with money could give him. We have nothing in common,” except super-hot sex Tiara thought.

“My dear, I believe you have more in common than you think.” She gave one of Tiara’s hands a soft pat. “Now, I think Jordan’s car is arriving. I will just go get the driver to take me home while you two enjoy the rest of the evening.” Jolene rinsed out her coffee cup and headed towards the front door leaving a stunned Tiara behind. She heard her greet Jordan at the front door and then the soft click and the sound of an alarm engaging before she realized that she just been ditched by Jordan’s mother. And that she did it so smoothly didn’t escape her.

She was still sitting on the barstool stunned when Jordan walked into the kitchen wearing the same sexy grey suit, she saw him in this morning when her life went to hell. Oh yeah, she was mad at him.

Furious.
