Epilogue

“Mrs. King, your next appointment is here a little early,” Jasmine announced through the intercom.

Avarie smiled, still getting used to her new surname. Her relationship with Shane had turned into a whirlwind romance. A year almost to the day she’d first walked into his office, they were married. She took in the sight of the beautiful bridal set perched on her ring finger.

Their fairy tale wedding had been all the talk in town. Gossip blogs were still clamoring for an interview with her on how she’d landed the very sought-after Shane King.

She typed a few commands on her computer, wanting to look at her schedule so she could see who it was who’d booked a last-minute appointment. She glanced at the name and didn’t recognize it. Beneath the name was the notation that alerted her it was a new client.

“Go ahead and send in Mr. Charles,” she replied to Jasmine. She stood from her chair and buttoned her jacket. She was dressed in a power suit and heels, ready to meet her new client. She always got a rush when meeting people for the first time.

Avarie was confident she’d win the client over with her smarts and witty nature. The door opened, and she paused her footsteps.

“Mrs. King, how are you?”

A grin spread across her face. Shane strode across the room after shutting the door behind him.

She threw herself into his arms. He brought her flush to him. She basked in the feeling of being in her husband’s arms.

“What are you doing here?” she asked.

“It’s a shame I have to make an appointment just to spend some time with my wife,” Shane murmured. He leaned his head down and pressed his lips to hers.

She immediately returned his kiss with the passion he bestowed upon her. His lips danced across hers while the kiss deepened, his hardness pressing up against her.

A groan escaped her as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

“You can see me any time you want. All you have to do is FaceTime me.” She giggled, pulling back away from him.

His hands slid down along her sides and disappeared up beneath her skirt.

“There are some things we can’t do over FaceTime. I came to have mid-afternoon lunch with my wife.” Shane pressed forward, and Avarie had to back up until her legs brushed her desk.

“Shane,” she gasped.

He hooked his fingers around her panties and pulled them down.

She kicked them away as a smile spread across her lips. “I have a client after your appointment.”

“They’ll have to wait. According to article two, section B in our contract, I can have my wife any time I want, and right now, I need you.”

His hands went to his pants, and he slowly drew down his zipper.

Oh, what the hell, Avarie thought. She undid her jacket buttons and pulled it off, tossing it onto her chair.

“We wouldn’t want to break our contract,” she said.

“I knew you’d see it my way,” he replied, sliding his jacket off.

Avarie lifted her skirt to her hips and hopped up onto her desk. She spread her legs, exposing her pussy to her husband. His eyes darkened as he took her in. He kicked his pants and boxer briefs off. She locked her gaze on his thick shaft, erect and ready for her.

“As your counselor, I must advise you that breaking my contracts come with a hefty fee.”

He gripped her legs and drew her to the edge of the desk. Moisture gathered at the apex of her thighs. Her core pulsed with the feeling of the blunt tip of his cock pressing at her slick opening. He slid forward, sinking deep inside her, eliciting a groan from both of them.

“It’s a price I’m willing to pay.”
