The sun began to set, casting a warm glow through the cabin windows. I watched as Marrok’s chest rose and fell with each steady breath, his snores filling the room. He had fallen asleep on the couch after breakfast, exhausted from the emotional turmoil of the morning, confessing his past.

This was my chance.

My heart pounded in my chest as I slowly rose from the chair, carefully avoiding any creaky floorboards. Eyes darting between Marrok and the door, I calculated the distance and the time it would take for me to escape.

I took a deep breath and tiptoed towards the door with one hand over my swollen belly.

As I approached the threshold, the floorboard beneath me let out a long squeak. I froze, my blood running cold as I looked back at Marrok. The snores had stopped, replaced by an unsettling silence. My hands started to shake, but I had to keep going.

Please don’t wake up.

I gently pushed the door open, revealing the woods outside. Once outside, I took off running, my dress billowingbehind me as I sprinted through the underbrush as fast as I could with my belly. Adrenaline coursed through my veins as the cold air stung my cheeks, the fear of being caught propelling me forward. But my desperate attempt only lasted for a minute before I felt Marrok's strong arms wrap around my waist, pulling me back into his grasp.

“Let me go!” I screamed, kicking and flailing in his arms. His grip only tightened, his breath hot against my neck as he whispered into my ear.

“Ruby, I’m sorry for yelling at you earlier,” he said. His hand slid between my legs, hiking my dress up as I trembled in fear. “I still love you despite how nosy you are. But I’ll make sure you never feel the need to go to another alpha again.”

“I wouldn’t do that,” I said.

“Yet you did. You did it to Jasper, and that won’t be happening with me,” he growled. “I know you very well, my love. My flighty little omega, but don’t worry.”

His words made me shudder, and my mind raced with thoughts of escape, of finding my way back to my actual pack. Dread settled within me at the uncertainty of my fate.

Ruby

Tears burned my eyes as Marrok’s fingers glided over my bare thighs. His breath was hot against my neck as he sniffed me deeply, taking in my scent, which was laced with fear. I whimpered when his hand cupped my pussy, one finger slipping into my wet channel.

“Ah, Ruby,” he groaned. “You’re so ready for me.”

My body betrayed me, desire flooding through me as he began to thrust his finger in and out of me, fast and relentless. The sensation of being stretched and pumped into by his skilled finger was overwhelming. I tried to clench my thighs closed, but he only pushed my legs wider apart using his foot. I gripped his arms, nails digging into his skin as he continued to finger me.

“Marrok, please,” I gasped, my voice coming out as a half plea and half moan.

His grunts and moans grew louder, echoing in my ear like a nightmare. The smell of dark spices seemed to intensify the hornier he became while fingering me.

Suddenly, I felt him stiffen behind me, and my heart raced as I realized he orgasmed right there in his pants. The thought horrified me, but at the same time, the intensity of his fingers pushedme over the edge. My orgasm hit me like lightning, my pussy throbbing and clenching around his fingers again and again.

I cried out, my legs shaking uncontrollably.

“See, love? We were made for each other,” he whispered like it was a naughty secret between us.

As my trembling subsided, Marrok led me into the cabin, my legs still weak from the intensity of my release.

“Please let me go,” I pleaded, but he just chuckled.

“This is what married couples do, Ruby.”

“No Marrok. I’m not married to you!” I yelled, tears streaming down my face. “It’s all in your imagination! None of it is true.”

“It’s more real than the feelings you have for Wayne. They’re only using you to birth babies for them.”

“That’s not true.”

He followed me to the kitchen, backing me up against the counter and breathing in my scent deeply. “I’m so sorry, my love. I could smell your hurt.”

My chest hurt at the thought of Wayne possibly using me to give birth to babies since it was his duty, and being stuck here in the wilderness made me dazed with emotion. Tears rolled down my face, knowing deep down that he was with me because it was necessary.
