He smiled.

He got it.

“I can do that. I just get…well…kinda bored.” It was so hard to be still and quiet. “I start off real good but then my mind starts thinking about toys and funner stuff and then I’m not big anymore and little me doesn’t like to kneel.”

Oh well.

Daddy Elias gave me a bite and put on his thinking face. “Well, I think you’d be cute if you were kneeling but I don’t want you to get bored. So we don’t have to do that, but what if we tried to find ways to make it fun?”

Kneeling could be fun?

“Like…like a quiet game kind of fun?” I’d never figured out why some Daddies liked that game. It was boring too.

“No.” Shaking his head, Daddy Elias looked like he knew it was boring. “Something more active than that. I’ll think about some ideas but no kneeling in one place being bored. Just fun kneeling.”

I wasn’t sure how he could make it fun, but he was smart, so I knew he would try.

“Okay, we can talk about it and find a fun way to do it.” I’d get to see his bulge, so that’d make it not too boring.

“You look like you are thinking very naughty thoughts.” Daddy Elias smirked when I blushed and giggled. “I thought so. I’m starting to learn your tricks.”

Yep, he was smart and he watched me good. He didn’t even look away bored or get wiggly. He just fed me and smiled and looked happy. He hadn’t even looked to see what time it was yet.

“I don’t have tricks.” Nope. “I’m a very good boy.”

Daddy Elias looked skeptical. “Should I ask Dally how good you are?”

Noooo.

“He’d just tell you I’m very sweet and…and that I like cuddling.” Yes, that was all he’d say.

Daddy Elias chuckled. “Alright, if that’s what he’d say.”

Yep.

“What would your friend say about you?” Yes, that was much more fun because it made Daddy groan.

“He’d say naughty things about me and he’d probably be right.” Daddy Elias shrugged when I laughed. “But he’d also say that I look happy with you and that I should get to know you more.”

Oh.

“I like him.” He was nice so far and he was still having fun playing with Dally. “He’s happy and patient. He hasn’t even frowned at Dally yet.”

Daddy made a sad thinky face. “He’s had a hard year, so I think finding someone as happy as Dally was very good for him.”

Dally made everyone happy.

But Daddy kept looking at me, not Dally, so I thought that was a good sign. “I’m glad he’s happy today.”

Hard years were hard.

“Me too but I’m glad I’m happy too.” Daddy Elias grinned when I giggled. “I found a fun boy to get to know. One who’s going to tell me what kind of games he likes to play?”

I liked games.

I told Daddy Elias all about my toys and my games and the cartoons I watched when I was little. “I color when I watch cartoons but not just because.”

Daddy Elias nodded. “Because it would be like sitting still if you did it without a movie or a cartoon playing.”
