“Luc, you feel so damn good.”

I smile wickedly. “Do you want me to just stay inside you? I won’t move.”

She answers by squeezing her internal muscles, which sends a shockwave to my balls. I can’t stay still any longer; I need to fuck her. I work into a rhythm. Her legs tighten around my waist as our flesh slaps together. My heart is pounding in tandem with the movement of my body against hers.

I hastily connect my mouth to hers, our tongues thrusting against each other. I feel her walls ripple against me as her third orgasm shatters her. When it passes, her legs fall from my waist, but I don’t stop. I’m so close, and at the end of her climax, I find my own, spilling my seed into her with a loud groan.

My arms are shaking, so I lower myself onto her body as she wraps hers around my back.

“Olivia, that was wonderful. I love you.”

“You’re still hard.”

“Is that an invitation? I can go again.”

As the snow fell, we made love throughout the day until the light begins to fade. By then, I am content and sated.

“Luc, what now?” she speaks up.

“Well, I thought I would get up and take a shower in my new bathroom. Care to join me?”

“No, I mean what’s going to happen between us. Are you coming back to New York for good?”

“That’s a silly question. Of course, I am. I don’t want to be separated from you any longer. These last three weeks have been hell for me.”

“But how are we going to work it? Are you going to live with me?”

“I hadn’t thought that far ahead. We made mistakes by rushing too fast before. We should probably take some time and just go back and forth between each other’s places. Would that be alright?”

“I guess.” Olivia didn’t sound so sure. Instead, she seems sad, and I want to get to the bottom of why.

“Sweetheart, what’s the matter? I want you to tell me everything that’s bothering you.”

“I thought we would live together,” she admits. “We did when I was recuperating, and we loved each other then.”

“We still love each other. Why do you want to live together so badly?”

“It’s just one more step towards permanence.”

“Do you want me to ask you to marry me? I will if it makes you feel better.”

“That sounds like I’m pushing you to do it, not that you want to.”

I prop my head on my elbow to look at her. “You’re not pushing me into anything. I’ve often thought of you being my wife. There isn’t anyone that would be a better fit.”

“But still, I don’t want to push you.”

“Olivia, do you want me to or not?”

“I guess not. Not now, anyway. I do want to get married eventually.”

“So I’ll put it on the back burner. You’re special to me. I want you to know that I’ll always take care of you.”

“I know. It’s part of what I love about you.” Then, switching gears, she says, “I’m starving. We should break out that melted ice cream you brought home.”

“Coming right up!” I jump out of bed to retrieve a pint and two spoons. The snow was still coming down when I went to the kitchen. It looked like we got about nine inches. I would have some shoveling to do to get us out of the driveway, but that wouldn’t be for a few days. While we eat, I switch on the flat-screen television on the opposite wall to check the news out.

“I think you’re going to have to stay for Thanksgiving.”

“Did you think I was going to leave you?”

“No, but I didn’t exactly plan for company over the holiday.”

“You have some steaks in the freezer. Who says that Thanksgiving has to have turkey? As long as we’re together.”

When I kiss her, her lips are cold from the ice cream. We need the calories for energy anyway since we spend the night as we did the day, making passionate love.
