“Dagger. Yes. Oh, yes. This. Is. Perfect.”

I reached around her and pinched her clit, all the while fucking her from behind. It was the forbidden idea of this situation that brought me closer and closer.

If someone walked in that backdoor, we’d get caught. Fionna would likely get fired. No sex in the workplace wasn’t a written rule…. but assumed, I guess.

“Dagger. Now. Dagger. Now.”

Her hand cupped my balls and that was all it took. She exploded, squeezing me to perfection. I exploded unleashing my pent-up desires for this woman. “Hurry. I see someone coming.” I barely had time to pull out of her and zip up my pants before her back door opened and three little kids came charging in.

Fionna managed to pull her skirt down. She had her hands folded beneath her chin, smiling at the young boys. “Come to get more ice cream?”

One of the little boys turned to her with a big smile on his face. “Yep.”

She turned to face me. “I’m still mad at you.”

I laughed. “If that’s how you show me how mad you are, I’m going to make you mad every day of the week.”

She stuck her tongue out. “So, this is it? You’re just going to move in the apartment with me and keep all my bad demons away? Make love to me every chance you get?”

The boys came up and paid for their ice cream bars so I waited until they were gone. Once the door creaked closed, I pulled Fionna into my arms. “Yes, on all of that. I love you. I love the man I am when I’m around you. I love the guy you seem to love. I’m sorry I didn’t text you. It was easier to not engage with you because every freaking minute of the day, my thoughts were already on you. I wanted to quit a time or two on Rodrigo—”

“—You didn’t!”

I nodded. “I did. Thank God I didn’t because his uncle had this job. Anyway, I had to figure out a way to put you out of my mind without going insane.” I shrugged. “But it didn’t work. Here I am.”

Fionna nodded. “Here you are. I’ve never been so happy to work here than I do right now. It brought me you.”

I kissed her mouth. “Indeed it did, Fionna. Indeed it did.”
