In all the years I had this man as my Head of Security, I had never taken him for a… pegger. I couldn’t even stomach the word.

Even by just looking at him you’d see he didn’t seem the type. He was very tall, with a large body-builder stature. He looked like the most masculine man you could ever find. And yet…

My body shivered just thinking about it.

I turned to look at him. “Sebastian, how long have you worked for me?”

He gulped. “12 years, sir.”

“And why do you think I chose you as the Head of my Security Detail? There were many far more qualified soldiers, so why do you think I picked you?”

I had never seen him so nervous. I had watched him take on eight men alone and not even bat a single eye. He had been shot at, stabbed, and nearly bombed at least a dozen times. And at each scenario, he walked out like nothing phased him at all. But here he stood, shaking in his boots like a wet kitten.

“Because I showed resistance and resilience.”

I snapped my fingers. “Correct. So why, then, did I have to watch you get fucked in the ass while on your knees eating my wife’s pussy only a few short minutes before I said I do?”

The ice in my voice made even my spine quiver.

“Boss… I… I…”

I held my hand up. I was already in a sour mood, and this was a perfect opportunity to take out my frustrations.

“Outside, Sebastian.” I set my glass on the table and led him outside to the back garden. All the guests were inside, and what I had in store for him was not for public eyes.

The last thing I needed to get out was that my security had fucked my wife. It was a stain on my reputation that I could not afford.

We walked outside onto the large balcony, then descended the stairs and made our way to the maze area that was made up completely of hedges.

Sebastian followed behind me wordlessly, already knowing what was to come. He knew the rules. No one touched what belonged to me.

Rodrigo and Alex stood in the center of the maze, where I had asked them to wait. They stared at me with serious expressions. They knew the crime their friend had committed, and I knew what I was asking of them, but they knew the rules. And the punishment was to be handed out accordingly.

“Take him,” I ordered the two of them.

“Boss, wait… please… wait…” Sebastian tried to fight them off, but even with his large size he still could not break free. Rodrigo forced him to his knees. “Boss, please. I didn’t know she was your wife, I only found out today who she was when I saw her walk down the aisle. I was drunk and she came to me to—”

My fist connected with his face, silencing him. “I don’t want to hear how your fucking mouth made it onto my wife’s pussy. You crossed the line.”

He spat the blood that had pooled into his mouth. He lifted his head to meet my gaze. I could see the fear and remorse in his eyes, but I was far too pissed to care. In my world, there was no room for mistakes or misunderstandings. What kind of man was he, fucking somebody else’s woman? Had it not been on tape, then I could live with it. But the fact of the matter remained. He had embarrassed me, and he needed to be dealt with.

I threw my jacket on the floor and rolled up my sleeves. Images of my brother dancing with Savina burned into my mind. I was not a jealous man, but I was a possessive one. And I hated it when the things I owned were touched.

I pounded his face over and over again, until my hand was painted in his blood and his head hung low. I unleashed every ounce of my frustrations and pain onto him. It was undeserving, but still, the punishment was served.

“B-boss, I’m… I’m sorry,” he heaved out, his chest rising and falling slowly. “Please… please…”

This man had stood by my side from the moment I was able to stand on my own two feet. He had kept his oath and kept me safe. I should show mercy, and truthfully it had been Savina who had conned him. He wasn’t to blame; the man just thought he had been blessed with an opportunity.

But he had tasted her before I could.

I pulled out my gun and pressed it against his head. “Begging is beneath you, Sebastian.”

He whimpered like a scared child. It was pathetic.

“Excuse me?” a small, meek voice said from behind me. I whirled around to see who dared to interrupt my business affairs, but then I stilled. “Savina is looking for you.”

Martina stood at the entrance of the maze, looking completely and utterly unphased by the scene before her. I knew next to nothing about the girl aside from the fact that she didn’t have any real roots in this world. Her father had kept her away from much of the gore, but still, she ran within our toxic circles.
