With a ragged curse, he bent and hooked his hands behind my knees, hoisting me up and pinning me against the side of the truck. I locked my legs around his waist as he claimed my lips, groaning into my mouth as he sheathed himself fully inside me with one powerful thrust.

Our harsh pants and whimpers mingled with the rush of the river as we moved together in a fevered, frantic dance. I lost all sense of everything but the feeling of Wyatt surrounding me and filling me to the point of breaking.

When the tremors of my climax finally crested, Wyatt captured my cry with another soul-melting kiss, allowing me to shatter apart in his arms.

Wyatt’s thrusts grew erratic, his harsh pants hot against my cheek as he chased his own release with single-minded earnestness. Then, with a guttural groan, he stilled, his entire body going rigid as he pulsed deep inside me.

I clung to him, quivering, as he collapsed against me, his weight pinning me to the truck in the most deliciously overwhelming way.

Sometime later, we lay tangled together in the bed of the truck, our sweat-slicked bodies still trembling in the aftermath. Wyatt nuzzled his face into the curve of my neck, placing a line of feather-light kisses along my overheated skin as my fingers idly traced patterns across his back.

“Why did we ever stop doing that?” I wondered aloud, the words a breathless murmur.

A low, husky chuckle rumbled against my throat. “Damn if I can remember, darlin’, but I swear on my life I’m never going be that stupid again.”

Curling closer, I smiled into the darkness. “I’m holding you to that.”

“Next time, I won’t have my pants around my ankles like a horny teenager,” he added with a wry chuckle.

I arched an eyebrow at him. “I don’t know. I kind of like that look on you.”

Wyatt barked out a laugh, his chest vibrating against mine with the rich sound. “Well, I like this look on you,” he rasped, letting his heated gaze roam over my naked body in the almost complete darkness.

“Obviously. I look amazing naked.” I pushed him flat on his back and moved over him so I was straddling him. “Got any more in you, cowboy?”

Wyatt ran his hands up my body, over my breasts and up to my face, and tucked my hair behind my ears. “Yes, ma’am.”

Dirt Road Anthem - Jason Aldean

Wyatt

“Damn!” Finn swung off his horse, slapping the ground hard.

I followed suit, my boots kicking up dust as I landed.

He clapped me on the back so forcefully I stumbled forward. “That was our best fucking time yet!”

I grinned ear-to-ear like a damn fool, my heart thundering in my chest. The rush of rodeo always hit me hard, that high I couldn’t get enough of. But the only other thing I craved was her—the tiny blonde tornado already launching herself into my arms.

Kinsley wrapped herself around me, her lean legs squeezing my waist as she smashed her lips against mine. I drank her in greedily, my hands sliding down to cup her ass and pull her harder against me.

“You’re such a show-off,” she said.

“It’s roping. The only show I want to put on is for you.” I nipped at her jawline, dragging my teeth along her delicate skin.

“Oh, really?” She raised an eyebrow at me.

“I mean in the ring, on a horse.” I placed her back on the ground.

“Aww, I was hoping for a little dance, less clothing maybe.”

I pretended to consider. “Maybe later,” I said with a straight face.

“Ha! That’ll be the day.”

“Are you saying I can’t dance?”
