“No,” I say, shaking my head and biting my bottom lip. “Someone could walk in at any moment.”

“You are so bad, Miss Green,” he mutters before kissing my lips.

“Punish me already,” I reply.

“Oh, I plan to.”

Heat swells in my belly as Luke drags me to the edge of the table. His eyes bore into mine before he looks down and guides his cock to my core. As he presses himself inside, I let my head hang back with delight.

He hooks an arm under my leg and fucks me hard with violent thrusts. His free hand clamps over my mouth to stop me from crying out. As the sleeve of his jacket slips down, I catch a glimpse of the red devil tattoo adorning the back of his arm.

“Don’t you dare come, Miss Green. I’ll be forced to punish you again tonight.”

I couldn’t stop it if I tried. At this angle and this roughness, it only takes a few moments of circling my clit with my middle finger and I’m stifling a scream in the palm of his hand.

He feels my cunt pulse around his cock. “You are in so much trouble,” he grunts before losing his own composure and unloading inside me with a groan.

A few moments later, there’s a knock on the door. “We’re about to start,” Caleb calls, sounding slightly uncomfortable.

Luke and I laugh quietly together before he eventually pulls out. When he reaches into his pocket for something to wipe me up with, I stop him.

“Don’t. I want to feel you dripping out of me when I say my vows.”

He lets out another growl as he leans down and kisses me again. “God, I love you so much.”

“I love you too,” I reply with a smile.

He helps me down from the table and zips himself back up in his pants. “I came in here to admire the collections.” As he gazes around the room, I stare only at him.

“I’m happy we chose this location then,” I say, taking his hand.

“Who wouldn’t want to get married in a library?” he asks with a shrug.

We walk hand in hand toward the door. “Right?”

When he places his hand on the knob, ready to open it, he pauses and stares down at me. “Are you ready?”

“Ready to be Sadie Goode? I don’t think I’ve ever been more ready for anything in my life.”

He smiles before leaning down and kissing me again. “Then let’s get married.”

Lucas’s Epilogue

Eight years later

Sadie sets the cake down on the table as my family around us starts to sing. The twins stare at the single flame over the number-one-shaped candle with wide, wondrous eyes. It only takes a moment before Ezra starts to cry and Dylan looks at him in confusion.

Sadie softly strokes Ezra’s head as everyone sings to them. And when the song ends, we try to entice them to blow the candles out but neither of them move. Ezra just starts crying more under the pressure.

Henry bounces excitedly next to his brothers. “Can I blow them out, Dad?” he begs.

“Yeah, go ahead, bud. They can’t do it yet,” I say, ruffling his warm, copper locks.

Reaching over the table, he blows the candles out, and Dylan lunges for the melted wax, but my mother snatches the cake away before he can get it.

Then she cuts the cake and nudges two tiny slices toward the two boys. Dylan doesn’t waste a second, burying his tiny hands in the frosting and bringing them to his mouth.

Ezra is still crying and doesn’t stop until Sadie picks him up and nuzzles him against her chest, whispering sweet words in his ear. Dipping my finger in the frosting, I give him a tiny taste. That makes him perk up a little, but he still doesn’t want to return to his high chair. Nothing beats Mommy’s arms.
