He jumped to his feet and pulled me into his arms spinning me around before setting me down and kissing me.
“Tell me you’ll marry me,” he begged.
“Of course, I’ll marry you,” I told him, laughing. “Like Daddy said, who else would have us?”
“A smashing reason to get married if I’ve ever heard one,” he teased. He kissed me again. “I’ll call you tomorrow?”
“You’d better.”
He grinned and I stepped away to let him get in his car. He waved as he pulled away and I practically floated back to the house.
I was getting married.
