“I miss you. Please, can we talk? I made a mistake. A huge fucking mistake and I’ve regretted it every day since. Please, Jagger. I love you.”

“You made your choice, Cassie. I told you from the start that there was one thing I would never forgive. And you did it anyway. There’s no chance I’d ever be with you again. I don’t care what you have to say.”

I turn to walk away and she grabs my arm again.

“Please,” she begs.

“No. Now let me go.” I frown at her.

I hear her calling my name as I head to my Quinn. I need to hold her in my arms, she grounds me and makes me feel calm. First thing I do is kiss her, I feel her hesitate for a second. But then she relaxes into our kiss.

“I missed you,” I say to her.

She chuckles. “I just saw you for breakfast.”

“That was hours and hours ago.” I laugh, wrapping my arms around her. “Have you tried our beers?”

“I have. I like all of them. But my favorite is the strawberry.”

“Mine too. I suggested to mom and dad that they should make a strawberry and honey beer. So they’re trying to get that going too.”

“Ohhh that sounds even yummier. I can’t wait to try it. You know that woman you were talking to is staring at us.”

“Ignore her. She’s my ex.”

I can see the worry on Quinn’s beautiful face.

“Don’t you worry about her. You’re the one I’m with, I told you before, you’re my future. I don’t know how I know. I just do.”

I hold her tighter and she wraps her arms around me.

“She’s beautiful,” she says quietly as she sighs.

“Well the outside, maybe. But the inside is rotten and ugly. You? You’re beautiful inside and out. To me, you’re perfect.”

“I truly don’t know what I did to deserve you, Jagger. But I’m so fucking happy I have you.”

I chuckle as I kiss her again. I love kissing her—every time I do, she lets out this soft moan that instantly gets me hard. And of course it’s time to get back on stage. Fuck me. I kiss her one more time before I follow my siblings back to the stage. Someone grabs my ass on the way, but I ignore it and keep moving.

During our sets, we play a mixture of our own original music and some of the original songs that our dad’s band played. There’s a lot of people that know our dad’s songs and it’s fun to see them singing along with us. Lately I’ve been seeing more people singing along to our songs too and that is the most awesome feeling. I see my girl singing along to some of our songs. She’s my perfect one.

Chapter Five

Jagger

It’s been a week since I met my Quinn. I’m not sure how I lived without her before and I know I don’t want to anymore. Another thing I know is that I love her. So tonight I’m taking her home to meet my parents. She says she’s nervous, I told her not to be. My parents are going to love her, my siblings already do. And my sisters have never liked anyone I’ve dated. So this is a really good sign.

“Are you okay?” I ask Quinn.

“I’m really nervous to meet your parents. What if they don’t like me?” Her voice is trembling as she speaks.

Taking her hands in mine, I pull her towards me and kiss her.

“Baby, they’re going to love you, don’t you worry.”

“I’ve never met parents before. Seriously, what if they hate me?”

I shake my head no at her. “They will love you. You know how I know?”
