Emma sighed. “It’s already done now. You can’t tell my mother or my sisters,” she said.
“How will you explain the huge dent in your car?”
“I will say that someone drove into it while I wasn’t in the car.”
Madison shook her head. “That might actually be better because your mother would want to kill you for being so reckless with your life,” she said. Emma nodded.
“Yeah, she would be really angry,” she replied.
“Are you going to quit?”
“No.”
“Why not? That place is no longer safe for you.”
“I don’t think that they will come back. That will just be stupid.”
Madison growled in frustration. She wrapped her arms around Emma. She was more scared and worried than Emma was. “Well, I hope that the sheikh at least gives you a raise,” she said. Emma laughed in response.
She was just glad that both she and the sheikh were fine. She was also worried about the bodyguard. He had been hit in the head with a metal pipe. She hoped that he hadn’t been too injured. From the kidnappers’ accents, Emma could tell that they were Arabic. She wondered who was trying to kidnap the sheikh.
