“She means personal,” Star corrects. I nod in understanding, getting used to Dixie’s mash-up of words. “Anyway, we are all women, and we’ve all been there. So come on, spill,” Star demands, shushing Dixie.

“Yes, Beast was my first,” I confirm.

“Holy hell, how are you feeling today? We all know why Beast is called Beast, and it isn’t just because he’s a big boy,” Star states.

I smile. “I feel good, a little sore, but good. Really good, actually.”

“Damn, I wish my first time made me feel good. It was all fingers and fumbling, a slip of the wrong hole, and it was over before I could ask if it was in.” Queenie shudders.

We all laugh. “Well, there would be no guessing whether Beast was in.” I laugh. “Although, the piercing was weird to get used to at first.”

“Hold the fuck up,” Maggie blurts out. “He’s pierced?!”

I nod. “I thought you guys knew that, since you know he’s well equipped.”

They all shake their heads. “We aren’t going to know where he’s pierced. Is it the tip or a Jacob’s ladder?” Star asks.

“The tip,” I confirm.

“Damn, you think you know a guy.” Maggie laughs, shaking her head.

“Um, there is something I want to ask you. I haven’t mentioned it to Beast, but when I went looking for him last night, and I went to the club first, I ran into Spider.” I pause, wondering how best to word it. “And well, when I decided to drive to Beast’s, I was walking through the bar area, creeping so that no one would hear me, and I was surprised to see Spider in the far corner fucking a woman,” I tell them.

Josie shrugs. “That isn’t surprising. I’ve heard they get up to god knows what.”

“It wasn’t that I saw them. It’s that I was so surprised, I froze for a brief moment. That’s when Spider saw me. He smiled and continued to fuck her while staring at me,” I tell them.

They all exchange a look. Star clears her throat. “It’s probably nothing, just some kink he gets off on being watched. I’ve done it and it is kind of hot, but a word of advice, whatever you do, don’t tell Beast, because unless he has given Spider permission, which I doubt he has, he will fuck him up.”

“What have I given Spider permission for?” Beast asks as he comes up behind us. We all jump and he laughs. “Sorry, didn’t realise I was that scary.”

“Errr,” Maggie states, trying to think of something to say.

“Oh hell, just tell them. They will scrap it out and be friends again soon enough. Spider fucked a girl while watching Belle last night. He appeared to enjoy himself,” Queenie tells Beast.

“Queenie!” Star snaps.

“Oh, to hell with it. You all forgave me for grassing you in. He will forgive Spider.” Queenie shrugs, sipping her drink.

“Belle,” Beast says my name in a deep warning. I turn around and greet Beast with a grimace.

“Hi,” I say awkwardly. He stares down at me before storming back inside the house. I turn back around. “Do you think he’s okay with it?” I ask. Suddenly, there is a loud crash and Spider is being thrown through the door, his body rolling down the porch steps like a barrel. “Shit,” I say, scrambling to my feet.

“I would say no,” Star mutters.

Beast stomps down the steps and picks Spider up by the scruff of his neck with one hand while slamming his fist into Spider’s face with the other. “Hey! That’s enough!” Ghost yells, rushing over. He grabs Beast, trying to pull him off Spider. Cash and Hawk join in, trying to break it up. “Rage, any help?” Ghost pants.

Rage stands there, leaning against the rail on the decking. He shrugs. “I would have done the same if it was Dixie.”

Beast uses Ghost’s distraction and slams his fist straight into Spider’s face. Blood splatters as his head whips to the side. “Anders! Stop!” I scream. He looks up, his chest heaving, his fist clenched tight. He lets go of Spider, letting him drop to the floor. Spider groans and curls into a ball. I rush over, crouching down to check on Spider. His lip is all busted open and it looks like his nose might be broken. “Jesus,” I sigh as I look up at Beast. “Why?” I ask.

He glares at me, his chest still panting. “Because you’re mine,” he grits between his teeth before storming off back inside the house.

Once they helped Spider inside, Dixie went about stitching the split above his lip and tried to reset his nose as best she could.

I sit in the corner opposite, staring out of the window. “I am so sorry, Spider. That shouldn’t have happened,” I apologise.

“You don’t need to apologise. He was right,” Spider states.
