Tommy: Yeah, it is.

Jackson: Whatever you need, little brother.

“Is that Blake?” Helena asked.

I shook my head. “Jax. He’s coming home for a couple of days.” I knew she meant well, but I didn’t trust Helena with what I was about to ask of my brother. “Are you and Dean still...?” I wiggled my brows, and her cheeks flushed pink. When she ducked her head, I glanced over at Matthias, who was suddenly busy picking invisible lint from his shirt.

“I’m not a virgin anymore.” Helena ducked her head as a small smile slipped over her face. “He was gentle, sweet,” she assured me. “I think I might even love him.”

I wanted to be supportive, but this was going to turn into a disaster the moment her brother got wind of it. Killian had such a short fuse.

“Mulligan has a show this weekend. Are you going?” Matthias asked, and the look in his hazel eyes told me all I needed to know. He was in way over his head.

I hadn’t missed a show yet. “I’ll be there.”

“I want to tell Kill about Dean. It’s getting him to agree that’s going to be a problem.” Helena chewed on her bottom lip.

Killian was going to be so pissed when he found out about them. I opened my mouth to remind her of that when our teacher, Mrs. Kane, walked in. I had no choice but to keep my thoughts to myself.

Chapter Thirty-Two

Tommy

Blake had his shoulder pressed against mine, the weight of his body leaning into me, and I couldn’t help but slide my arm around his broad shoulders and squeeze his arm. Everyone was watching Jackson and Maverick take their first dance together as husband and husband. I had never seen my brother as happy as he was at this moment. The smile on Jackson’s face, the love shining in his eyes, was wonderful to see. Jax tucked a piece of hair behind Maverick’s ear, careful not to disrupt the crown he still wore, and then kissed him like he didn’t have a care in the world.

Blake sighed softly. “They look so in love. It’s really sweet.” He beamed at me before he turned his attention back to the grooms.

I want that. The happiness, the forever, the everything. With you.

“I know we’ve touched on it before, but how would you feel about marrying me, Bug?”

His green orbs lit up, and his smile pulled his face into actual sunshine. He was all bright and shiny. I wasn’t proposing yet. I only wanted to make sure that we were on the same page. That when I was ready, Blake would say yes. Share his life with me.

Blake nodded. “You know I want that. So very much, Tommy.”

“Good.” I rubbed my nose against his. “I need to get myself prepared first.”

His brows dipped. “Prepared?”

“Yeah, prepared.” I squeezed him closer to me. “Get my mental health under control so I can leave Canfield with you.”

“You want to leave?”

“With you I do.”

Blake slanted his lips over mine. “Where do you want to go?” he whispered.

“Wherever you want, baby. The world is our oyster,” I murmured, and when Blake kissed me again, I hummed happily into his mouth.

He blushed and ducked his head before he spoke again. “It doesn’t matter. I’ll be happy as long as I’m with you.”

I gripped his chin between my thumb and forefinger, dragging my tongue over his full lips. “I missed you.”

“I missed you, too,” Blake whispered, then tears suddenly welled in his eyes. “I never should have gotten so upset with you. You were just trying to help. We wasted years we could have had together. So much time was lost because of that.”

I shook my head. “I know, but you don’t have to say that to me anymore. The past needs to stay there, in the past.”

“Thank you.” He sniffled softly, then chuckled. “Maybe I should start seeing a therapist, too. It might do me some good.”
