I grip the top of her thighs to keep her still as I shove my face directly into her dripping slit. I eat her out as if I’ll never be able to do it again. Katie’s moans spur me on, giving me directions without needing the words.

It only takes a minute before she’s coming harder than I’ve ever made her come before. I can’t even think straight anymore. I stand up behind her and shove my cock so deep into her pussy I have no idea where she ends and I begin.

“Nolan!” Katie cries out. Her knees start to wobble, so I wrap my arm around her waist to hold her up. It lifts her until she’s on her toes, completely at my mercy.

I continue to pound my cock into her. I’ve lost every ounce of control I had. It’s too good. She’s too good.

“Come on my cock, little dove. Right fucking now.” I suck my thumb into my mouth to cover it with saliva. Then I press it to the little star of her ass. I don’t push inside, just give her a little pressure, and Katie explodes around me.

Her pussy milks me for all I’m worth until I can barely stand on my own two feet.

I gently lower us to the floor so we don’t fall over.

“What the actual fuck was that?” Katie huffs.

I bark out a laugh. “I have no clue. Was I too rough? I lost all semblance of control.” I adjust our bodies so I can see her better. The movement makes my cum leak out of Katie, and panic hits. “Oh, shit, Katie. I didn’t use a condom. I’m so sorry. I wasn’t thinking. I swear I’m clean. I got checked after Adam and Ellie’s wedding, and you’re the only one I’ve had sex with since then.”

Katie’s eyes soften into this gooey look she’s never given me before. “You haven’t had sex with anyone else besides me? Really?” Her question isn’t accusatory. It’s asked with surprise.

I lift up onto my elbow, unable to look her directly in her eyes. “Yeah, after the wedding, I sort of… got a little obsessed with you. No other woman could compare.”

“But… I was rude to you.”

“No, you weren’t. You were honest, and it made me realize that you were the realest woman I’d ever met. I knew that if I dated you, I’d get the real you. You wouldn’t pretend to be anyone other than yourself. That was the sexiest thing I could imagine having in a girlfriend.” I shrug, embarrassment filling my cheeks.

“I’m really glad you didn’t let me go after New Year’s.” She grabs me by the neck and pulls me down to kiss her. “I’m also clean and on birth control, so we should be good to go.”

“So… no more condoms?” I ask, hope and want very clear in my voice.

“No more condoms.”

I jump to my feet and reach down to sling Katie over my shoulder. She squeals with laughter as I race us back to her bedroom.

She smacks my ass. “Best birthday ever!”

CHAPTER 27

Katie

“Are you ready to go?” I yell up the stairs.

“Almost!” Cody’s muffled voice calls back. We’re going to be late to meet Bryce, but I don’t particularly care at this point. The past few weeks since my birthday have flown by in a whirl of activities and general life busyness.

Nolan found a science club at Westlake’s library that he thought Cody would be interested in attending. Since it’s an after-school program, Nolan has been able to take Cody before he has to be at O’Malley’s for the evening.

The first night the group met, the two of them came back with bright expressions on their faces, talking a mile a minute about what they learned.

It was the cutest thing to see Nolan as lit up as Cody. After we put Cody to bed, Nolan told me more about the club. They teach the kids about different subjects using interactive experiments to help them grasp the more difficult concepts. Nolan said he’d wished they had something like that when he was a kid because it would’ve made learning a whole lot easier for him. I think Nolan gets more excited to go than Cody, which is saying something because Cody loves it.

It was weird being at home by myself for a couple of hours, but after the first night, I’ve come to enjoy the time alone. I thought it would be weird letting Nolan take Cody somewhere by themselves, but it feels like a natural thing now. They’ve become two peas in a pod. They tease and joke together, usually at my expense. Nolan has also brought out a silly side of Cody I’ve never seen before. A part of me feels guilty because I was never able to give that to Cody, but the rest of me is just happy he’s getting a chance to learn more about himself. Nolan’s been good for both of us, which is something I never expected.

“Okay, I think I’m ready.” Cody trudges into the kitchen. He’s gotten more and more resigned about having to spend time with Bryce. I don’t know what to do about it either. I’m frightened that if I say no, Bryce will make good on his threats. On the flip side, I can’t see how this is good for Cody anymore. Bryce and Cody have nothing in common. Every single visit has only gotten more awkward. This one might be the worst.

Bryce asked to play football with Cody today. We’re meeting him at the rec center in town, where there are a couple of public parks to use. I have no idea what it will entail exactly, but if it’s anything aggressive, I’ll be putting my foot down.

We load up in the car. Cody is abnormally quiet, and my stomach just continues to knot. My phone rings through the Bluetooth speaker with Nolan’s name on the screen.

“Hey, there,” I answer.
