Chapter 21

Dylan

She’d been talking with Carter for quite some time, her expression serious the entire time. It made me nervous. What if he was talking her out of giving the relationship a try? What if he’d given her a million reasons why a relationship between the three of us would spell nothing but disaster and she agreed with him? The time she spent talking to Carter, with me watching helplessly from across the room was one of the most stressful of my life. I didn’t care if I had her to myself or had to share her, the main thing was that she was in my bed, in my heart, and in my life.

“What do you think they’re talking about?” Zack asked. I could see the stress in his expression as well. I’d never seen Zack in love before, it was unique and made my decision that we should share her all the more valid. Who said a woman couldn’t love two men fully and completely?

“I don’t know. Her career I imagine.”

“Yeah. She’s staying with us though. It’s not like she’ll leave us, no matter how much he offers her.” Despite his definite answer, I could still hear the hesitation in his voice.

“Of course.”

The conversation between Carter and Violet ended with them both standing and him giving her a friendly hug. A minute later she was making her way back through the crowd toward us. She was so damned beautiful, wearing a low-cut red dress that hugged her curves to perfection.

“How’d it go?” Zack asked as she approached.

Violet smiled, a happy twinkle in her eyes. “It went very well actually. He just told me if I wanted a new group or assignment just ask and wished me luck.”

Zack and I released a sigh of relief in unison, and the mood immediately lightened up.

Looking around, it seemed as though everyone here was having a great time. It was nice to see all the road crew and people we’d worked with for years—over a decade for a select few—laughing, drinking and having a great time. It felt like the end of an era for us, and in some ways it was. The plan was two years, but who really knew what was in store for us all in two years’ time. Life had a way of throwing you a curveball when you least expected it.

“You look amazing, by the way,” Zack commented giving Violet a very blatant look up and down.

Just seeing Zack eyeing her made my dick jump. I had to say there was something very intoxicating about watching my woman with another man. I wouldn’t have the same reaction if it was someone else, but with Zack it was okay. It was more than okay really.

She blushed as she caught her lower lip between her teeth, looking up at first Zack and then me through her thick lashes. “Thank you. You two look pretty good yourselves.”

A shiver raced down my spine to put my dick on alert. What I wouldn’t do to bend her over a table and make love—correction: fuck her senseless. It wouldn’t be about love tonight, it would be about fast, hard fucking.

Glancing over at Zack I could see the hunger in his eyes, telling me he was thinking the exact same thing.

“Come with me,” Zack said to Violet, grabbing her arm. “Dylan and I have something important we need to discuss with you, in private.”

Great minds think alike. The club was crowded and the last thing we needed was to be seen by the press, but at the same time, the idea of getting caught was exhilarating.

The three of us slowly weaved our way through the crowds. Not making eye contact with anyone we passed in an attempt to discreetly find a quiet place. The place we eventually ended up was in the private room that we would normally claim for ourselves each time we came to the club, that had a one-way window where we could see out, but no one on the other side could see in. It was perfect.

Closing the door behind us, I was dismayed to see that the lock was broken. “Shit,” I muttered under my breath. Looking back to the other two, I discovered they were already in a heated embrace, their hands frantically exploring each other’s bodies.

“The lock is busted.”

Zack ended the kiss and looked at me, giving me a shrug. “So what? No one is coming back here.”

“It’ll be fine,” Violet added, giving me a sexy smile and crooking her finger at me. “Get over here, lover.”

Chuckling, I forgot everything about the door and made my way to her. Grabbing her waist, I spun her around to face me and lowered my lips to hers in a kiss that was fueled by the passion that was building within me.

“Now, tell me how we’re supposed to do this?” I asked, cocking a brow up at her and looking at the only available surface, the circular table.

Zack stepped up behind her and lowered his lips to her neck, she closed her eyes and tilted her head to the side, giving Zack better access to the tender flesh. As his lips kissed the length of her neck, his fingers grasped the zip at the back of her dress and slowly began to pull it down. The bodice of her dress loosened around her breasts.

Opening her eyes, Violet caught her lower lip between her teeth, eyeing me as if she was about to devour me and replied, “You’re a creative boy. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.”

Adrenaline surged through me, my dick becoming rigid and ready for action. Looking out onto the dance floor through the one-way mirror, I grinned. Perhaps they were right, this was a perfect place.

Grabbing the bottom of my t-shirt, I pulled the shirt up and over my head, tossing it onto the back of a vacant chair.
