Alec drew the knife from his pocket and held it out at his side, the blade flicking forward with a snap that drew more than one set of eyes.
‘Fuck this,’ one of them said, holding his hands up and retreating from the alley, quickly followed by another.
‘I’m not getting killed for some pussy, mate. Let’s go.’ One of the others grabbed the blood-covered idiot by the arm and tried to pull him away from us.
