My eyes shoot up, and I stare at my twin brother, letting out a chuckle at his words. “I have no intention of staying away from the girl, brother.”

“You’re kidding.”

“I want her, and I plan on pursuing her. Like I said, she’s just a girl.”

“A girl from one of the most powerful families in Austin—”

“So you mentioned,” I say, already done with the conversation. “I have a lot of work to do. Now if you’ll excuse me . . .”

Cash grabs my shoulders before I can turn away from him and steps into my space. His eyes are dark and narrowed to slits, but my twin doesn’t scare me. He and I have fought before, never over something like this, though.

“Snap out of whatever spell she has you under and listen to logic,” he hisses. “The last thing the club needs is to have powerful people taking an interest in us. Banging the AG’s daughter will for sure have him and his entire family poking their noses in our club’s business. You know we don’t run a clean house.”

“Step back, Cash.”

“Don’t see her again. It’s for your own good, as well as the club’s. I am not going to let you risk our family just to get your dick wet.”

I shove him away, clenching my fist and fighting the need to slam it into his face. “Get out!”

“Riot!”

“I am this close to punching you, Cash, and I don’t want to do that. Get the fuck out of my garage.”

My twin glares at me before climbing onto his bike. But before he starts it, he turns to look at me and warns, “Stay away from the Greenwald girl, brother. I don’t want to have to involve Priest, but I will do whatever is necessary to protect you, even from yourself. I always have.” Then he tears off without waiting for a response.

I run my fingers through my hair, frustrated by the situation. I know Cash is right. Deep down, I see his point and how dangerous it is to get involved with Sasha, but she’s the woman I want, and I can’t just turn that off. My body and my heart have already claimed her as mine.

Hers are the lips I want to feel pressed against mine.

I want to push her against a wall and ravage her, feed her my fat cock, and rut her until all of Austin hears her pleasured cries and knows that she belongs to me.

Mine!

I toss my dirty rag away and head out, not bothering to strip out of my work coveralls as I mount my bike.

“Hey, boss, where are you going?” Noah, one of the club prospects who works under me at the garage calls out, rushing over before I can drive away.

“You’re in charge of the place until I get back,” I tell him, sliding my helmet in place before starting my engine and tearing away. I should probably think this through, but my blood is boiling, and this roaring noise pounding in my ears makes it hard to focus on any logical thoughts.

The ride into the city takes about a half hour, but it feels like an eternity has passed when I finally drive into the underground parking garage. I park my bike in the same spot I did last night when I dropped Sasha off before grabbing my phone to call her.

For a second, I contemplate the possibility that she might not even be at home. Sure, it’s Saturday, but the girl has a life, right? That doesn’t stop me from ringing her up though.

She picks up on the second ring, her voice flustered when she speaks. “Hello? Riot?”

“I want to see you,” I say in greeting, my voice rough even to my own ears.

“S-see me? Like, right now?” she says in a startled tone, and I hear her move about. “You mean like right this minute? I mean, I think I could see you today, but right now?” I hear a door close in the background followed by the sound of running water.

“Yes, right now.”

“Okay, I-I need to clean up . . .” she mutters more to herself than to me, but she keeps me on the phone as she moves around, and I wait until she’s calmed down to let her know I’m at her building. “Wait, you’re here? Stay right there, I’ll be down in a sec.”

The call disconnects, and I lean against my bike. I block out my brother’s warning from my mind as I wait for Sasha. It probably is a bad idea for us to be together.

But the need I feel for Sasha seems greater than the need for my next breath. I don’t know what it is about this girl, but I am already addicted to her.

Before Sasha, I played the field, sure. I like beautiful women, and for some reason, they seem to like me too, but whatever relationships I had before were purely and mutually physical. I’ve never been one for repeats, but with Sasha . . .
