I don’t miss the look Elio gives her, and I’m sure he’ll be saying those words much sooner than Jasmine might know.

“I sure am.” Camille looks up at me and it makes my heart skip in my chest because she’s beautiful and mine to keep. Forever.

I lean into her, my breath hitting her ear as I speak.

“Just so you know, I would’ve asked you to marry me even if Idris told us about the blackmail first.”

“Really?”

“You leaving made me realize I never want to be without you,” I admit, kissing her cheeks that pinken from my words.

“Moi aussi, mon amour.”

“Pussy? Baby, we can’t talk about that right now,” I groan, already halfway hard thinking about it as I kiss her neck.

Camille shoves me playfully. “I said aussi, as in me too, my love.”

“I love that y’all are in love and what not, but do you think we could tone down the PDA just a tad? I got Jelio holding hands up front and Rami nearly making love in front of me,” Theo pipes up.

“Jelio? Rami?” I shoot him an annoyed glare.

“Yeah, your couple names. Cameron and Aurora are Cora,” he says all too happily.

“And yours and Marcela’s would be…?” Cami asks.

His enthusiasm fades as he sits back in his seat. “That’s not happening. She’s taking a break from dating after everything that happened, and I think she sees me only as a friend right now.”

“Maybe you should move on, find someone else to have fun with.” Idris shrugs beside Theo.

“Maybe,” Theo mumbles back, staring out the window.

I don’t think Theo is the type to do that, because once he has his mind set on something, he doesn’t waver from it. Which means if he has his sight set on Marcela, I wouldn’t be shocked if he waited for her…

Well, for forever.

ou’re what?” Coach Warren coughs, looking between the two of us with an unreadable look on his face.

“Married, Coach.” Ryker doesn’t shy away from Coach Warren. Instead, he proudly holds my hand in front of him.

After we spent the day sleeping and consummating our marriage yesterday, we knew we needed to come back to Colorado as soon as possible before word got out. We also needed to talk to his mom.

To say I’m a bundle of nerves and excitement is an understatement.

I know people will judge us because of how young we are, but what they don’t know is how deep and real our love is. It’s not something that can be explained with fancy words or excessive gestures. Although intangible, I’ve never had the privilege of holding something so precious before.

Ryker gives my hand a gentle squeeze as we wait for Coach’s response. His hardened gaze flicks between the two of us for a moment before the corner of his lips turn up in the slightest.

“Congratulations.” He stands, shaking my hand and then Ryker’s.

“You’re not mad?” Ryker asks warily.
