I smile and say, "Alex," making my aunt's tears fall. Then I look at my cousin, who is grinning from ear to ear, with Quinn underneath his arm, her hand gliding over her small bump, tearing shining her eyes.
"I'd be honored, little cousin," he rasps. I grin as Lucas wraps his arm around my waist.
Sniper steps forward with his hands on his hips, glaring at me, and I bite my lip, trying not to laugh. He wants to be stern, but the happiness shining for me ruins his hard exterior.
"What about me?" he snaps, his lips tilting.
I ask, "Well, I was wondering if you'd be the one to marry us; apparently, you can get ordained on the internet."
His eyes widen in shock as Lucas chuckles, the brothers all looking at me in awe.
Suddenly, we all look toward the slamming side gate, and a very angry woman with a small bump, who I have to admit is absolutely beautiful, shouts, "You lying motherfucker!"
Sniper's eyes widen, and I wince, whispering, "Uh oh…."realizing who she is.
Long, curly red hair, light green eyes which, even from here, I can see the fire in them—Sniper's wife.
How in the hell did she find out about him?
Wait, she has a bump?
"Firecracker,"he says quietly, his voice cracking, panic etching his features.
She storms our way as Annie, his and Snake's momma, stands next to her son with a look of confusion. Quinn's brother, Jack, rushes after the small woman, who looks ready to kill.
Oh crap…. Is it bad that I want to grab a bowl of popcorn?
She points at Sniper and snaps, "You're a lying piece of shit!"
Annie steps forward with anger and glares at the woman and snaps,"Who the fuck do you think you are, coming in here and talking to my son that way. Patch-chasing whores are not welcome here, so why don't you turn your ass around and fucking leave!"
Sniper turns and glares hard at his mother, shocking everyone, but they soon look back at the woman when she speaks, their mouths opening in shock as she smirks at Annie. "My name is Aurora Taylor, his wife." Annie's mouth drops, and I wince as she continues, "I'm also pregnant with his child."
Oh no…. I look at Sniper with wide eyes, my hand clutching Lucas'scut. The dude never mentioned a flipping baby!
Sniper swallows hard and steps forward. "Rory, Firecracker, I can explain."
She scoffs,"Explain what exactly, Theo? Or should I call you Sniper?"
He growls and points at her. "I never want to hear that come out of your mouth, I'm your fucking Theo, and you know it!"
She shakes her head, making me sit up, wanting to hold her, but Lucas holds me back. I look at him, pleading, but he shakes his head and whispers,"This is something that was bound to come out. Let them hash it out, Pixie."
I sigh but nod, leaning against him as he kisses my head. I look at the woman, Aurora, her tears falling.
"I told you how I felt about MCs. I told you I never wanted to date a brother, let alone marry one. You lied to me. You married me knowing I didn't know who you really were, your true identity. You knocked me up."She shakes her head. "You made me fall in love with you. You made Autumn fall in love with you, encouraged her to call you daddy…and yet you lied to me."
I look at Sniper. Pain etches his features, seeing his wife hurt, but also determination not to lose her.
She sniffles and whispers with absolute pain, "I want a divorce,"and everyone sucks in a breath. Annie takes a step forward, why, I don't know.
Sniper pulls her back, pushing her into Bull's arms before she can get involved like she did with Snake and Sarah as he points at his wife."If you think I'd allow you to divorce me, then you've got another think fucking coming. If anything, baby, I'm moving you out of that apartment and into my house here on club land. Autumn's room is already set up for her and so is thebaby's."
She scoffs, shakes her head at him, and shouts,"You lied to me, Theo! You lied! I want nothing to do with you!"
He smirks, and I sigh, murmuring, "Idiot,"making Lucas chuckle.
Sniper states, "I did what I had to so I didn't lose the woman I love."
