There was no room for her body to clench, no space for the burning build that made her toes curl and her walls spasm. With wide eyes, Jade sat up further, pussy burning around his swollen ring of flesh as she felt her control snap.

ARDOL WATCHED HIS BEAUTIFUL, fragile Queen rear up, body stretched around his, belly slightly distended with his offering—and received an offering of hers. Clear, thin fluid shot from her as she shook, face twisted. Hard, hot jets poured out of her, smaller and much shorter bursts than when he released. Jade made inarticulate cries as these tiny torrents burst from her. He only caught one frantic word— “Ardol!”

“Oh, sweetheart. I haven’t been making you come properly this whole time?” Ardol felt like a stupid cub who barely knew which end of a Queen was up.

To his surprise, Jade only quivered against him—but her shaking shoulders were caused by laughter.

“I squirted. Gushed. Female ejaculated. It’s a thing lots of women can do—but not like the crazy huge gushing things you see paid performers do.”

“I have never watched paid performers,” Ardol winced, wondering if Jade would approve or find him ignorant.

“Not my thing either, especially after my years in the Pleasure Park. The orgasm has to be super intense, and they have to be super full to where it puts pressure on these little glands next to the clit—but on the inside. They fill with fluid when we’re aroused. Or some medical shit like that. You’ve always made me come, babe. Today, you just did it the best ever. When you’re buried in me like this—I think I run out of room.”

“So you’ll mark me as your mate each time?”

Jade opened her eyes and looked up at him from her nest of damp fur and sweat-laced skin. “You sound happy about that.”

“Thrilled.”

“It might not be each time.”

“Still thrilled.” Ardol stroked her hair and purred extra loud as her walls caressed his length inside. “Still in love. More in love than ever.”

Chapter Seventeen

Jade woke up to Ardol’s gentle nudging. “Are we there yet?”

“Finally, for the first time in a hyper jump and a day—yes!”

Jade sat up in her seat, body still feeling pleasantly tired after a long lovemaking marathon that included being “meshed” with Ardol each time. Once they left the freighter in Lynx-One’s orbit, Ardol had taken the controls for an arduous flight, including a hyper jump that sent them across the large open space fields between the Lynxian and Servali Systems and then pushed them past most of the Leopardine System to bring them close to Leopardine-One.

The blackness of space was now a rich green and gray, with golden patches here and there. “Are we on-world?” Jade asked.

“Almost. Entering the atmosphere above the Rekiwe District. That gray is from the mountains where our quarries are—and the green is all the steppeland.”

“And the bright lights?”

“Cities.”

“Cities?” Jade clutched the arms of her seat. Cities meant people, and pollution, and judgment.

“Rekiwe Plaza used to be a center for wealthy Kings and their Queens, a real haven for nightlife. Most of the cities in our district are more functional these days. Doctors, hospitals, shops, museums, things like that. There might be time to go to the theater. Do you want to catch a performance?”

“Like... a date?”

“Yes, a date.”

“Okay! Oh, gosh, my clothes are probably still in transit. Will I be dressed suitably for a fancy city?” She didn’t want to admit that she’d rarely gone out for fun while living on Sapien-Three or that her solitary tendencies had continued on Lynx-Nineteen.

I’d give a thousand credits to be back there right now, for the only city to be a handful of stores, a school, the town hall, the sheriff’s office, and a doctor’s clinic. For the place to be welcoming and friendly.

“People will stare at me,” she finally whispered.

“They probably will, because you’re unique and stunningly gorgeous. If you want to stay close to the estate, we can. I haven’t been home in ages. I’d be happy to just relax there with you.”

“Right. That’s good. Whatever you want.” Control your breathing. Stop freaking out. You’re going to have to live on this planet and be in the public eye if he’s the District Lord. Show off your jewels and your dresses, girl.

Jade craned her neck as the shuttle went lower and flew past the glowing city, where she could now make out a series of gray, white, and gold buildings, all with glassy surfaces reflecting the sunrise. “Where do we land?”
