SARAH

Weeks later, I woke to the familiar feel of Gunnox’s raging, morning wood pressing into my backside. I rolled over to press my hands to his pecs until he lay on his back.

He stirred briefly in his sleep as I straddled him, relishing the warmth of his scales against my skin. I lower myself onto his erect member until my slippery sex yielded to his girth. Deliciously tight, I glided down his thick shaft until I was seated on his lap. Grinding my pussy against his pelvis, I could already feel the pleasure of release building.

As he awakens with a groan, his hips begin to move in sync with mine, driving deeper into my core as he gathers the weight of my breasts and thumbs my hardened buds. His thrumming is heavy enough to shake the whole damn tree as the triangular flaps at the base of his cock fully grow erect and did some vibrating of their own until I’m convulsing with my first orgasm of the day.

With a sudden shift in position, he took me from behind and I happily surrendered to his dominant touch. His movements were primal, claiming my pussy as his own and pushing me toward an explosive climax. We merged in a fiery dance of passion, losing ourselves in the heat of the moment until our bodies were spent and we collapsed into each other's arms, sated and fulfilled—for now.

With every mating, the swirl of his emotions intensified. During our frequent intimacy, I sometimes confused his feelings for my own.

As we gradually mended from our separate abductions, communing through each other's pain had become our most potent form of therapy. Nestled against Gunnox's side, I traced the intricate pattern of his softly glowing shawra that mirrored mine. Our bond transcended mere empathy. Without Gunnox, I would still be tormented by relentless nightmares of Gorken whips and unquenchable thirst and hunger.

“Gunnox! A Lizordian ship approaches,” Drekkor's urgent call echoed from below. “I’m leaving for Huren now.”

“Give me a few mims,” Gunnox yelled back. “I’ll go with you.”

“I’m going, too.” I leapt out of bed, shoved my feet into my soft-soled boots, and pulled a fresh kilt-dress on over my head. The smooth fabric draped over my body, cascading down to my knees and secured by halter ties at the shoulders in a dress style.

We boarded the lift, and Gunnox swiftly turned the wheel for a rapid descent from our treehouse abode. Gripping the safety railing around the lift, I surveyed the surroundings of what had become my home. I peered around at the lush boughs of the silvery trees, resembling pines except with velvety and plush needles instead of prickly ones.

Drekkor and Alyssa waited at the base of our tree. I smiled at the other woman and with further ado, we were racing to the bubble craft parked on the south clearing near the shore of the Caspeen Sea. It always made me nervous to come here, but Gunnox had assured me we were out of grabbing distance of squidlin tentacles.

Seated on the cool, transparent floor of the bubble craft, Gunnox and Alyssa flanked me at the front as Drekkor lifted us off the ground without even a whisper. The flight hung heavy with anticipation as we soared toward our destination.

“Did you ever see a Lizordian at the prison?” I asked Alyssa. She had seen a lot more alien species than me during her captivity in the alien prison where she had met Drekkor.

“No, but Bree and Alexxon have. A Lizordian named Rex found them on a moon called Zune after they escaped the Thrushian Pleasure Cruiser where they were held captive,” Alyssa said.

“Alexxon and Bree were the ones Ruze, Mehr, and his shoulsis, Elizabeth escaped the Thrushian with,” Gunnox added.

“Ruze was the Nomadican who helped me and Drekkor escape the prison on Onis.” Alyssa bowed her head. “He got separated from his friend Mehr and Elizabeth during their escape and has been searching for them ever since.”

“That’s awful,” I murmured sympathetically. “I hope he finds them.”

“Yeah, me too,” Alyssa frowned. “If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know what would have become of us.”

Drekkor flew us along the eastern coast, soaring over the deep gorge cut into the lush landscape until the glittering dome over the city of Huren came into view.

“Did the Lizordian say who he was returning to Valose?” Gunnox turned to look back at where Drekkor stood at the command console.

“Zaku mentioned he had recovered twenty-two Valosians and twenty-nine human females from a planet called Delian. The Moktian said that’s the homeward of the Natookie.”

A surge of energy coursed through me, a familiar burn I knew was a shot of adrenalyne pumping through Gunnox’s veins. “The Zibeck I interrogated on Tirius mentioned a species called Natookie. Did Zaku hail Ruze to let him know not to waste his time going there?”

“He did,” Drekkor replied. “Ruze updated with news of the Mayran rescue from the Jagots. He’s on his way to deliver them to a planet where they’ll be safe, then he’s off to the Orc home world.

“More lost spirits are returning to Valose.” Gunnox took a relieved breath, some of the heat leeched from the spiraling essence.

I clutched his hand. “Knowing Ruze and Tyrk, more will be returning.”

“I pray to the Spirits to show them favor,” Gunnox uttered.

Beneath us, the sprawling city of Huren stretched out like a map. The top of the dome split open at Drekkor’s request and we descended to land on the training field. It felt like an eternity had passed since my last visit. I was a guest in this familiar place, but Huren had never truly been my home. And now, as we landed, I already longed to return to the Trisess Forest.

As we disembarked, I was immediately surrounded by Bridget, Lucy, Abby, Chloe, Naomi, Hannah, and Trish—the women who had stayed behind in Huren, patiently awaiting the return of the Moktain craft to return and take them home. They engulfed me in warm hugs and gazed at the shawra peeking out from the neckline of my kilt-dress with wonder.

With my hand nestled in Gunnox’s, we traveled as a group to wait for the Lizordian craft’s arrival. Gunnox stopped about a hundred feet away from the location of the landing zone on the outside of the dome.
