Without hesitation, I lean down and capture her lips with mine. My hands cup her face, my fingers threading through her hair as I deepen the kiss, savoring the taste of her lips against mine. They taste sweet, she always tastes sweet.

Her response is instinctive, her body arching towards mine as she kisses me back with equal fervor. She whispers my name, whimpers that I’m the only man for her.

I trail kisses along her jawline, down the curve of her neck, eliciting sounds of pleasure from her lips, then stroke my tongue along her throat, het tits, her belly, licking off the honey.

She starts moaning and then her moans turn into rough purrs. Her whole body hums, her thighs locking around my head, my hands sliding underneath her ass and I lift her to my mouth, drinking her up until she lets out a cry that echoes throughout the entire cabin.

I pull back slightly to gaze into her eyes, remembering how they looked at me just a moment ago. I brush a strand of hair away from her face, my thumb tracing the curve of her cheek as I whisper, ”I would never…"

She reaches up, placing a finger against my lips to silence me. "Hush," she breathes, her voice husky with need. ”I…know.” Leaning back on the pillows, she spreads her legs for me and a fervent need to fuck her until she’s bone dry flares in me.

Clasping her jawline, I sigh my fingers into her lower cheeks. ”Mine,” I say, my voice hoarse, tone dark. ”Say it.”

Solange bites her lip, not letting out a single word, taunting.

I loom over her. ”Whose girl are you?”

”Asher’s,” she pants, her hands clasping my shoulders, hips jerking up to meet mine when I enter her. ”Oh fuck!” she cries, and she needs this more than I thought. Her nerves are a mix of adrenaline and desire, her lips, eyes seeking mine. ”What h…have you done to me?”she stammers.

”Nothing you didn’t want me to,” I rasp and her eyes flare, but she knows I’m right. I grab the headboard and launch myself into her, rougher this time until her hips snap. ”Now come for me…”

I sit across from Solange at the table, watching her with a mixture of awe and adoration as she eats the dinner I made. The flames from the fireplace dance in her eyes, casting a warm glow over her features She looks so alive, so mine, and for a moment, I forget my own name or what we’re talking about.

Her laughter rings out as she teases me about my cooking skills, a playful sparkle in her eyes that ignites a warmth in my chest. My heart swells for her. Finally, she understands me. She made that effort to understand me and it’s all I wanted.

I reach across the table to brush a stray lock of hair behind her ear, my fingers lingering against her cheek. She leans into my touch, her smile softening into something tender and genuine that makes my breath catch in my throat.

”I’m surprised you made all this," she says, her voice filled with admiration as she gestures towards the food. ”While I was tied to a tree.”

I shrug modestly, but inside, I'm bursting with pride at her praise. "I wanted to make something special for you," I admit quietly, my gaze never leaving hers.

"Well, you succeeded," she says, her voice sending a shiver down my spine. ”And by the way, there’s no need for you to apologize.”

”For what?” I frown.

She scowls. ”For tying me up.”

”Oh that…my deepest apologies.”

I reach for her hand across the table, intertwining our fingers together. The warmth of her touch sends a jolt of electricity through me, binding me to her. I want to tell her how much she means to me, how she's become the center of my world, but instead. I pour her another glass of wine, my hand brushing against hers as I do so. I watch her with a tenderness that threatens to overwhelm me, every gesture, every smile of hers belongs to me.

Solange catches me staring again, her cheeks flushing slightly under my intense gaze. "What?" she asks, a glint in her eyes.

I shake my head, unable to find the words to convey the depth of my feelings. "Nothing," I reply, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "Just... admiring a sunshine angel.”

She rolls her eyes but leans forward, pressing a gentle kiss to my cheek. ”Smooth.”

Epilogue

Two weeks later in that cabin, we were found and brought back to civilization. We’ve been together ever since. I sit alone in our penthouse, the flickering light of the fireplace casting shadows across the room.

The mantle is adorned with our wedding photos, capturing moments of happiness frozen in time. Asher is out, as he often is these days, claiming to be away doing charity work. I know the truth, though I try not to dwell on it: he's out there, continuing his secret life.

It's past midnight, and despite his assurances of safety, I can't help but worry. My fingers trace the edge of the wedding photo closest to me, a bittersweet reminder of the life we've built together. A life that now includes a baby on the way, a thought that both terrifies and excites me.

The sound of the door opening snaps me out of my reverie, and I call out Asher's name as he enters. He moves toward me with purpose, his eyes locking onto mine with a mixture of longing and relief. Without a word, he scoops me up in his arms, his kiss hungry and possessive, as if trying to reassure himself that I'm still here, still his.
